Why the fuck were you quoting me?
Because when people try to have both they end up sad and alone.
I just saw lies and slander there.
This is one thing that FTB definiitely has over technec. Since the FTB launcher uses multiMC as its core launcher, it can load jar mods and disable them without a hassle. What technic does is it has all of the jar mods installed into a "modpack.jar" file, and when the pack launches, it installs that over the minecraft.jar. This means for the fellows that don't want optifine in their pack will have to pick through the modpack.jar and delete only the files that optifine uses, then install forge over it again. And the older packs have somnia. I frankly don't like somnia too much, so to uninstall it, I have to download a fresh copy of it to see what files to remove, then open the jar and delete those files. It's tedious and frustrating when you accidentally delete the wrong class file. It is also very tricky to install a pack on multiMC. You have to manually download the jar mods, and if you don't get the right versions, then things start breaking. With FTB, you check a box in multiMC and all of your FTB instances show up in the main interface, ready to be played." The system FTB has is amazing because unlike what Technic has, you don't have to create an entirely new pack just to add a single mod! " What?
Just to expand on a fight topic, they have a section dedicated to showing off major ones( i.e. Lowerchild vs. lexmanos) but they (to my understanding) dont allow them ramdomly. This is one thing that FTB definiitely has over technec. And the technic guys do allow fights, to an extent. You generally are not allowed to call someone a fag for no reason.
