In my experience they burn forever. Buckets may indeed be necessary.Does a burning oil field ever burn itself out? I have a couple of eyesores near my base where lightning has struck some pretty tall oil spouts and they're ablaze on the ocean. Just wondering if I wait some amount of time if they will just consume all the fuel and go out or if I need to break out a bucket.
thanks.
You have to use nbtedit and go into the settings for the world in the configs. Don't believe you can do it in-game.If you build a random map in mystcraft.. is there any way you can find out what the pages that are randomly made are?
Judging from some of the crashing I've seen on Soaryn's Twitch stream (DW sometimes records episodes while Soarym is streaming) it's gonna be a while before 1.7.10 DW20 is stable, even though DW posted to Twitter that his list has been submitted to FtB for processing.
If you watch Soaryn's stream you can usually get some info about the state of some mods directly from the mouths of the mod devs themselves, as they tweak recipes or discuss causes of the crash that just happened, or Dire requests a feature etc.
I'm not really interested in a whole DW20 pack, just Thaumcraft for 1.7.10 for a private pack my friend and I are trying to make. The biggest things holding us back right now are TC and TE not having ducts/conduits.
Thaumcraft was one of the packs they were having problems with in particular, although issues are being fixed all the time. One example, earlier this month, occurred during a livestream... Soaryn borrowed a wand with the 'equivalent exchange' focus from someone. He selected the first block-type with no problem but crashed the server when he selected the second.
As I said, it may be a while.

Not Really an issue since TC was one the first mods to implement retrogenWell... balls. Most mods I'd be cool with adding later but TC has so much worldgen.

Good to know but I have no idea how retrogen works or how to use it. Does it apply only to a certain area or all previously generated chunks?
I understand that part. Is there a page or thread somewhere that explains the ins-and-outs of retrogen? It's effects and use?
All generated chunks? Specifically for Thaumcraft will it also place nodes, trees, and structures?
Ah. Thanks for all the other information regardless. How does one use retrogen? Is it a console command?
Depends on your mod pack. Mekanism universal power cables and the mod power converters work for this but I don't know the exact details for either. So, I've got an abundance of RF, but I need to convert it to EU to power a terraformer (made my house in a desert, and expanding downward is a pain in a desert). Any ideas on how to do this efficiently/easily?
