Platinum is pretty much used for absolutely nothing tho.

It's used to make enderium ingots. The shortage of it without Electricraft keeps a lid on how many resonant energy cells and tesseracts you can spam.

But then, once you've mined out every block in a 24000 block radius, you can't really claim it's a shortage :p

I can't remember when I would've last used tesseracts so those things completely escaped my mind =(

Openblocks sprinklers have no effect on magical crops, since they basically just try and bonemeal crops in range at random and magical crops can't be bonemeal'd

BUT

Do you reckon I can fill the sprinkler with magical fertilizer and have it use that instead?

So on my map, I accidentally popped open an itemduct that had thousands of items in it. My FPS has dropped to 0-ish, and I don't know how to get rid of all the floating entity blocks everywhere. Is there a command I can use? If I enter creative and (slowly) fly away will the items eventually un-spawn and let me play again?

Edit: Since I'm playing on Agrarian Skies, I learned that I can restore to a backup that was made by AromaBackup. Yay Aroma Backup! I even was able to restore to a point that was more or less right before I made the fatal error, so now I can go back and do it right.

Edit/update: So I rolled back to a previous save and stuck a barrel onto the side of the itemduct, and then an import bus on the barrel to drain its contents into the ME system. It turns out that there was roughly 3 barrels worth of cobble in the itemducts, all of which had popped out as entities when I knocked out that one unfortunate section of duct. This has pretty much solidified my decision to only use AE from now on and just avoid all other item transportation systems. Jesus.

I thought there was a vanilla command to kill all entities, but i'm not sure.

You can definitely do it by opening the world in MCedit and clearing all the extraneous crap.

To prevent that from happening to me I hook up a player interface from random blocks to my ME network and allow it to transfer items into the network, works wonders. And you can use pipe filters to prevent or from taking items you don't want

What is an early-game way to destroy mass amounts of land? (I'm talking hundreds of chunks, for a mob spawner perimeter.)

Even late game hundreds of chunks is a huge task. MCEdit would be the best bet I'd say. Unless you can make a world eating frame quarry... Hmm those things burn through chunks pretty quick

Bound shovel and pickaxe. Will take forever though. Could always try an advanced spell for later on (Blood Magic for both of these).

How much RF would this take for an average chunk?
Considering your average vanilla biome doesn't get much above y64 (except mountains ofc) I would say ... Not a lot. Last time I used a filler I wasn't counting power as I had tons of it, so can't give exact numbers sorry
