Thought that might be the case, just didn't see it mentioned in the change logs. Is it configurable? I glanced thought the configs but didn't see anything.
It's in the cfg GregTech. Recycable stone or something like that.

GregTech.cfg has an option: DisableStoneInRecycler, however, in FTB that option is defaulted to false. In this case, I think it was just a run of bad luck.

How can I modify the nether waypoints in the Ultimate pack to work correctly with "Last Death" points? currently they're incredibly far off.

Oddly I have the opisit problem. Soul crushing oceans thosands of of blocks in any direction. It gets to the point I just never leave land anymore becusae most likely I'll be stuck at sea for hours. literaly hours.
Oceans are big, but they will have some content soon™. Overall they are underused by both Mojang (which is expected) and modders, but it is changing slowly (saphires from GT, geodes with awesome stone from RC). Most of the MC world is ocean and the only interesting thing there are AM structures (BTW they are awesome in newest update).

No problem! I had almost exactly the same question awhile ago. :D

I have a question though, how can I get a pipe to only pump items when there is space in the machine?

Will galacticraft be added to a pack in 1.5 or 1.6 when it comes, this mod is going to be one of the best in history when it's finished.

Also jess887, you can use buildcraft gates, and either structure pipes or red pipe wire, if your using structure pipes and autarctic gates set gate on the structure pipe to emit a redstone signal when there is space in inventory of the machine, use redstone and connect it to another autarctic gate which when a redstone signal is on, start an energy pulser

Thanks, I guess I can't do it in a one block space then. I'll just shuffle my chest around then.

I hope galacticraft is added, but I haven't heard any news about it.

simplest powered way way to process ore is thermal expansion pulveriser and powered furnace (the pulverizing part means you get 2 ingots for every ore), requires buildcraft energy which you can get from burning things in a steam engine.

Most people these days start off with the Thermal Expansion set. Those are the pulverizer and powered furnace. You then need an engine to run them. Most people will say to start with a Hobbyist's steam engine or a steam engine. Both run on coal/charcoal. Both also require water to run. The engines can then be either directly connected to the machines or they can be connected to wooden conductive pipe(This pipe is only for engines as it allows them to output power into the pipes). Then connect the wooden conductive pipe with golden conductive pipe that connects to the machines. The pulverizer will take ores and grind them into dusts for double the output as well as a 10% chance on some ores for bonus material. The powered furnace is just a furnace that runs more efficiently that a standard furnace as well as faster.

If you have easymode gregtech, or have it disabled, then the ic2 route may be the way to go. Generator for power, batbox for power storage, copper wires to hook up to an electric furnace and macerator for ore doubling, and you have the most basic of ic2 setups. 4 items. Thermal expansion has higher beginning yield though, so even though you require even more stuff for engines and stuff, you also make it back quicker. Refer to Hoff and Ako, in the posts above.

I just started a world, and I'm using a combination of both. I have a bunch of lava feeding thermal generators and magmatic engines, and a pulverizer going into an iron overclocked furnace. It's slightly more advanced, so it's better to pick one of the abouve routes than going for a weird thing like mine right off the bat.

I don't know of any infinite power loops, AFAIK, everything uses a certain ratio with simple conservation of energy.
But, with that mod, you can just set up one power system and be done forever. Without it, one needs to set up multiple power production facilities, thus resulting in more challenge and a lot more cleverness.
If setting up power systems is fun for you, then great. I like power systems too, and I can't see myself using Power Converters myself, but not everyone is interested in setting up multiple different power systems.
