I have a basic automated bee setup, to get honey etc to power bee machines. However ae gets upset with my meadow bees as every tiny mutation means they are not recognised by the export bus. I have tried a fuzzy bus set to 0 damage, but that exports all types, not just meadow. What is the best way to do this?

I have a huge bee ae network and i use fuzzy export buses. Just put a meadows princess and meadows drone into the export bus and it should work out fine.

best thing to do is take some of those meadows drones and get the meadows trait. then take you a rocky princess and a rocky drone. Turn them into a Meadows princess and meadows drone. This way you have no mutations to worry about and they can work in the rain and also at night.

FTB Unleashed uses the Thermal Expansion spawns. The last two don't have detailed information, but the others do give the defaults - I'm not sure if Unleashed uses the defaults though, I imagine it probably does. I don't have an install on this machine to check.

Thanks Biblo, this its my first ever run at bees, I was with you up to the point you said turn the Rocky bees into meadow bees. And how does that/how can I stop the mutation, as I think that is what messes up my export bus.

I'm pretty sure there isn't. I have heard people have tried Wand of Equal Trade with no success. I don't know of anyone trying the Builder's Wand from Extra Utilities (one of the Unstable Ingot tools).

I've used the builders wand and the creative builders wand without any issues.

You need a Field Stabilizer Module and an inventory holding whichever block you want to place next to the Projector.

You can remove the faucet attached in the smeltery drain and put liquiduct or wooden waterproof pipe connect to any container. apply redstone signal and it will start draining the smeltery. also the smeltery drain can act as an input if you want to pour liquids back inside the smeltery

Well, usually you don't pump liquids into a chest. Try a tank (Railcraft, or Portable Tanks).

I'd say a Buildcraft tank, which you can just break to dispose of the unwanted liquid.

You can technically do that with a portable tank or an RC tank as well, just takes a bit more effort.

Is there anything special about the cutlass from TiC? So far it seems to function like a broadsword but its curved, it blocks and does the same base damage as far as I can tell.

This is just hearsay, but supposedly it crits for more. I haven't done any testing with it though.

Is there any way an Advanced Diamond Drill and the likes (Laser, Quarry) could be set up so it recognized the bane of all the Nether -- Tainted Soil from Natura mod? I've been looking around the web and the .cfg files and I just can't find a solution.

EDIT: Same goes for the Tinker's Construct Gravel Ores? They too seem to be immune to the power of the Advanced Diamond Drill (and the likes).

you need a Isolator. Put the meadow drones in it till you get meadows serum. Then put that into a synthesizer when it is done. Put it into a Purifier. then once that is done. Put it into a inoculater, along with the rocky princess and drones. Then you will have a meadows princes and drone with the traits of a rocky bee.

to do all this you need bee dna. you get this by running bees thru a genepool.

Is there a way to disable forestry butterflies? They're extremely annoying, generate lag and create mutated saplings in my treefarms that end up clogging my system. In addition to this, my orchards look like mutated beasts now, and I don't even know if the mutated blocks still drop their supposed fruit or not. I HATE BUTTERFLIES!

Butterfly don't mutate the trees though... thats the bees, butterflys are there to look pretty

5 of first 1 is 500 eu a tick and you can stack them. second one is only 420 and can't be stacked. which route would you go?
