Centrifuge the combs (forestry centrifuge), put 4 dust in an implosion compressor, take the industrial diamond and make them into a diamond block, and smelt that down to regular diamonds
i get coal dust, bees wax, honey drop and diamonds. there is no implosion compressor

Then you are using a pack without gregtech (for example DW20). Without gregtech you get diamonds directly, but with a lower dropchance (~25%). With gregtech you get tiny piles of diamond dust every time (which are a 25% diamond dust).

Is it possible to especially farm for VIS infused stone? (the purple one)
Does it spawn more at certain heights or biomes?

What are the differences of normal, pure and unstable node, graphicalwise? Interpreting http://ftbwiki.org/Nodes leads to: pure = rays emanating from the center; unstable = swirly rays emanating; normal = no rays. Is this correct?

Bit of an MJ newb here (been a EU user for a while!)

I have a bank of 4x redstone energy cells that are being supplied power from 4x electrical engines and golden conductive pipes. Im having trouble on the next step in joining them to my machines. Should i use one cell per machine setting the output per machine, or can i set say 8MJ output and just set and forget? There is enough power being supplied from my EU side.

Should i be using different piping from the cells > machines?

Try upgrading to redstone energy conduits as soon as possible. Also, setting up one cell to feed the machines should be enough, given the fact that its max output is higher than the required input.

I have a question, I just updated my direwolf20 server to v5.1.1 from v5.0.1 and im having some issues. Command blocks for instance do not seem to work, I have checked my properties file to make sure that command blocks are enabled. but they dont seem to be responding, im just trying to do a simple /time set 0.

my other issue is that my server keeps throwing up these in the console: http://pastebin.com/F1jz2zMh

any ideas?

With redpower, what is a good way to trash unwanted items? I mean, i could hoot it to a chest and have the chest pumped into a void pipe, but im hoping Redpower has an easier way by itself without resorting to that

It's surprising that redpower doesn't have anything, I just use a filter into lava, though that's not the least laggy way to go about it.

In Tekkit there was an incinerator block (8 cobble in a circle with lava bucket in middle) but it doesn't appear to be in FTB and the recipe doesn't work as I've just tried it. Was part of the BC mod according to the Tekkit wiki.

Relay into lava.

Looks like Elo has though of waste disposal, if you do it that way, then there's no burning entities, it's like a void pipe in that regard.

What is the easiest tier 5 soul shard to get?

What do you have available to you? Early game it would probably have to be via a zombie or skeleton spawner. Personally I built panda's enderman XP farm as soon as I could and I had a tier 5 enderman shard within 20 mins, although in fairness that was aided somewhat by 2x enchanted books with soul stealer which I put together on a sword. I used the enderman shard to make a tier 5 wither skeleton shard.

slimes are by FAR the easiest to get. No contest. the only issue is finding a chunk they spawn in, and that is made simple with the minimap that coems with most the packs. With lvl 5 soul steal you get an average of 78 souls per single large slime. Plus you get a ton of lime balls that hel a lot early in teh game. furnace them for resin and then centerifuge the resin for a shit ton of rubber. Best method of rubber farming/leveling early game.

Confused a bit what you mean here.

The incinerator is from Tubestuff, Imibis's mod which may or may not be in one of the packs I vaguely recall seeing it mentioned recently. With the issues that relays are showing atm it's probably less CPU intensive to just use a filter or transposer and let the buggers burn, on my TBM I have a lava block which serves a double role it's the trash disposal and also the lighting method, I have a hole in the platform to let the lava through with a Block breaker underneath the TBM digging a trench that gets filled it does eventually despawn since it is only flow lava but given that lava takes freaking forever to despawn and it only has to stop the mobs from spawning close enough to blow me up while I'm loading after portalling in, it works.
