Is there a way to combine the totals of several MFSU's on to One Information Panel?

Edit: Hmm actually. Not quite what I was looking for. Guess I will have to work around it somehow. I was looking for something that would combine the Totals in to one Total. Not just display a number of mfsu's one one panel. Thx anyway.

Look into ComputerCraft and MiscPref I am fairly sure there is a power sensor option in there some where you will then have to code as CC lua code to bash your numbers for you.

Speaking off bees, how long does it take until a new species stabilises? Trying to get a pure common and noble, and currently the drones are not yet stacking. I'm slowly getting there, maybe just one or two traits are still resisting. Then I can work on majestic and any others, a couple of spare drones have majestic hybrid without me even trying for majestic.

How long it takes cannot be said definetly. It all depends on three variables:
a) The number differences in the traits between the parents and the new species; less differences -> faster stabilizing
b) Your skill in choosing the best drones to mate with your princess (always! use the Beealyzer)
c) Luck

Thanks. I think I'm having the luck getting the next type of drones before I try breeding them, but the bad luck in not being able to stablise all the traits - oh well :p

If you can't stabilise all traits, don't worry about it - the main benefit is storage, that is to say, the ability to pack away a massive supply of drones for genepooling or breeding purposes without creating pages and pages of clutter within your storage system. It's easier to throw away a stack of 64 drones then it is to throw away 64 individual drones.

If you find you've got a couple of princesses and half a dozen drones that've at least got their race stable, ditto for the race you need to breed them with to mutate to the next species, then get out the soul frames and try to make that leap. You only need the one princess to advance, the others can be used to attempt to stabilise the old lines at the same time.

Just trying to get them to stack at the moment, the race is stable, just their lesser traits refuse to stablise. Not too fussed yet about those traits, as I know I can always do gene splicing at a later date.

Thought I managed to get a cultivated nocturnal stablised, but I think I've ended up with a rocky species that uses flowers and has lost all the other rocky traits - pro bit of breeding there :p

FTB started out as a challenge sky map. You started with a handful of items, and had to make your way to a "temple" that requested that you make various items, which you fed it. It would then reward you with other items. Your job was to work out how to make the items. It required EE2 for transmuting materials.

You basically started off on a single block, and gained a phil stone, lava source block, water source block, 2 saplings and a pickaxe. From that you had to work out how to build a MFSU, generate a ton of EU, etc, etc. It's evolved over time as mods have updated, changing the game play.

Because of what the temple/building wanted you to make, it was known as The Beast, and since you had to feed it the items, the term Feed The Beast

You can even get it via the FTB launcher, look for the retro packs. (You'll also need the appropriate map download.)

Oddly I have the opisit problem. Soul crushing oceans thosands of of blocks in any direction. It gets to the point I just never leave land anymore becusae most likely I'll be stuck at sea for hours. literaly hours.

That brings up a good question. Where in the configs is the settings to set the biome size? I know by default the Mindcrack pack has it set to HUGE. My server spawn in the a snowy biome. Seemed that snow went on forever... then there was ocean ... then finally a nice woodland biome.

There is not a setting for biome size that I have seen. It is set by the map type when you creat your seed. or if your running server the server.properities file has that option. Theres basicly default, Large Boime, and flatlands.

You can with the nuclear control, if you make the power array, turn off individual displays and turn on summary i think it is. You can do it with the nuclear control because I had a board in my base that just displayed the total amount of power that I had stored in minecrack 8.2.0

Not totaly sure. It really depends on how it is coded. If it is as I assume taking the damge you would have taken then feather fall lowering that damage should lower the engery lost.

But I'm not 100% sure I would suggest making a test map in creative and checking it out.

I don't think you can enchant quantum armor- but if you can, it's probably a bug, and will be fixed.

However, if you're worried about your boots draining power, try the Long Fall Boots from PortalGun- last I checked, they absorbed all fall damage, and never wore out. I've also heard that they offer about the same protection of diamond boots. They won't, however, let you jump higher than normal.

If it's the same feather falling as the Ars Magica equips it slows you right before you hit the ground so I would imagine it would cushion it. If however it acts as a damage reduction it might not reduce the damage they take.
