Gregtech has a problem with MFR having the recipe for Rubber bars. DON'T REPORT THAT ON THE IC2 FORUMS OR YOU'LL GET BANNED!(that's something in the message)
Yeah, they're serious about such stuff over there. It's no joke. Don't ever ask "when will GregTech 6 finally be released in playable form" over there either. Trust me on this. :)

I saw that. Is there even a way to fix it?
That's something I don't know. Maybe take a look in the configs? I'll google it thou.
Anyway what pack is that? O believe MFR oredicts something made of leather in greggy-greg-something when GregTech is installed.
EDIT: Quote from the official ftb wiki:
MineFactory Reloaded in the past re-registered every item as "greggy_greg_do_please_kindly_stuff_a_sock_in_it" in the Ore Dictionary when GregTech was detected. This has caused users of both MineFactory Reloaded and GregTech to complain about console spamming. Some users have also complained about automation not working as expected when both mods are installed. As a result, most of the code from the "greggy_greg" incident has been removed from the mod. However, MFR still re-registers Leather Boots as "greggy_greg_do_please_kindly_stuff_a_sock_in_it" if GregTech is present.

Kinda funny.

Greg and the MFR developer had a "falling out", let's say... some could call it more of a "war", but I tend to picture it more as open-handed slapping each other, rather than being actual punches... not that I have any inside knowledge or anything. LOL

The end result of their tiff, and the bottom line for modded minecraft is: GregTech and MFR basically cannot be in the same modpack together without a lot of editing work. They do not "play nice" with one another, and even tho a lot of it has been kinda sorta cleaned up over time, much of the remnants of it still remains (as you have just seen). If I'm wrong in anything I said, please correct the record. But this is my understanding of it all. Happened a few years ago now. Old story. Again... my potentially faulty recollection is that Greg felt MFR was overpowered as a mod and wanted some code installed in it so he could "alter" things in it via his own mod. The MFR developer refused, setting the whole conflagration off. Just a very unfortunate butting of heads (and egos). Welcome to the human condition. Can't we all just get along? :)

It might have something to do with mod dependencies and the order in which the entries get processed when they get loaded. If you have Minetweaker installed, there might be a way to tweak the offending recipes so the concerned mods are dictionaried to the necessary kind of rubber. I've seen a few posts on FTB regarding problems that turned out to be to do with mod dependencies, the solution was different for each problem, but eventually, a solution was found. You might want to do more googling or searching, as often it's not simply telling it to use the item you want, you have to have it properly dictionaried or errors will result, and possibly, broken recipes too!

HTH.

Cheers ...

Thank you for all your support and responses! All have been really helpful!
I'll be researching more deeply about the issue, if I can't find anything I'll just delete one of them, I'll have to ask my community about it.
@RealKC It's my private modpack I will PM you the list! :)

It's been a long time since I've played, and I just started up a world on Infinity expert. How does IC2 power work now? Do machines still need transformers? And does cables loss still exist? I can't seem to find any up to date documentation on it.

Cable loss still exists I think, but you don't need to worry about voltage anymore apparently.

Machines no longer explode no matter what. Do not ever put in a transformer upgrade into any machine. Energy is still sent in packets though which is different than RF. this basically means a wire can transport as much power as you want as long as the packets of EU are not greater that what the wire can support. In other words you could put hundreds of quantum solar panels on one fibre optic cable. Please correct me if I'm wrong. Also machines can stil break if not picked up with a powered wrench. Dolly carts work too and save settings etc. Ic2 wiki is pretty good too.

*looks at Tekkit Legends*

There is an option in the configs to enable explosions. I've lost a few macerators that way.

No power loss unlese you enable it in configs, no explosions because the new E-Net cannot simulate voltage corectly, use the electric wrench in loseless mode.

Read what I said above, also because IC2 is in the experimental state the IC2Wiki may not ve up to date

Is there any mod that does the same as extra bees (adds bees that produce the metal combs) that works with the current version of Forestry?

Binnies mod is what is now Extra Bees, but that doesn't work with Forestry 4

Now I am having a random problem which I didn't have before...
I can't see my cursor while I am ingame, I can't manage to even have it on the main options and menus.
I tried to do all of this already: http://gaming.stackexchange.com/questions/51351/mouse-cursor-wont-display-in-full-screen-games (even tried no-aero theme) and nothing seems to be working...
It's only happening with FTB launcher, it works with multimc and vanilla minecraft. :S

OS: Windows 7 64b with Java 7

Infinity Expert mode:

Rolling Machine and Compressor won't connect to my quartz Kenisis pipes for power. Running 3 Hobbyist Steam Engines into wooden Kenisis, into quartz. Power transfers to Rock Crusher, Carpenter, and Lasers no problem. Clear visual disconnect from Kenisis pipe to both the Rolling Machine and Compressor.

Help?

The compressor is from IC2ex which uses EU, either make an IC2 generator or make Immersive Engineering cables. I don't know what's the problem woth the Rolling Machine.

IC2ex? I was under the impression that in Infinity, EU was not used, or at least all items would now take RF. The engines make RF, the transport tubes transport RF, all the machines are supposed to take RF... Or so I thought...

Anyone else?

There are different ways of converting EU to RF, and RF to EU

You can use Immersive Engineering wires to convert RF to EU

I'm stuck on how to learn Bottled Taint. This is Regrowth pack, but I don't think it changes research requirements. I have researched Liquid Death, and scanned a Tainted Slime and a Tainted Goo. Do I need to unlock the Eldritch tab?

So... after a server-mate had a serious IC2 nuclear accident on our Infinity Evolved Expert Mode server, we've apparently learned something - one layer of IC2 Reinforced Stone is not enough. Is that correct? Is two layers enough to contain nuclear explosions? What about openings to pass cables thru? How best to shield those and prevent a blast from escaping? We're only using one chunk loader per player so there's no possibility of placing the nukes outside the base, we're pretty much forced to build in our little 3x3's.
