Here is the PR3 post with changelog
  • Updated IC2 API to .304
  • Fixed bug in NEI due to colour of templates
  • Fixed inoculator crash
  • Reimplemented spawning of hives

And the PR4 here
There are a few fixes, including hive spawning and GUI tweaks

Looks like it is first to 1.5.2.

Ah, and it is only for 1.5.2 (requires Forge 7.8.0.684+), Buildcraft 3.5.1 won't load on 1.5.1. So much for "version-independent mods" eh?

Chickenbone's core won't load in 1.5.2. Time for a new 1.5.2 column? :p
Coremods in general won't load on other versions of Minecraft (with some exceptions) since they use obfuscated names instead of srgnames (not completely sure why this is, but my guess is it relates to their loading process, before runtime deobfuscation runs), unfortunately. And we were so close to getting all the mods updated to 1.5.1 :eek:


Personally, for my own DIY config pack, I'm strongly considering skipping 1.5.2 and just staying on 1.5.1 for now. How is everyone else coping with 1.5.2?

EBXL, Forestry and Steve's carts updated to 1.5.2.

Edit: looks like several 1.5.1 mods are 1.5.2 compatible. Tentative list below:
Tinker's Constructs
Portal Gun
Gravity Gun
Inventory Tweaks
Bibliocraft
Iron Chest
Twilight Forest
Railcraft (not said atm but works)

With the introduction of Forge's srgnames mods wont have to update to every version should they code the srgname functions into their mods. Those that already had (applied energistics, forestry, railcraft, steve carts 2) didn't need to change anything to work from MC 1.5.1 version to 1.5.2.

My scope is just going to be 1.5 for now, Ill leave it upto people to decide if they want to goto 1.5.2. usually most mods will either have no issues or upgrade quickly

This. There are more than a few mods that won't work in 1.5.2 despite being 1.5.1. All the core mods for instance, won't work until they're updated; so that mean no NEI until Chikenbones fix his mods.

I'm currently testing mods one by one to see if they are 1.5.2 friendly, and I can confirm that I did get some that aren't. Gotta test more through.

Edit: btw, Extra bees updated it's alpha to 1.6 pre6: http://www.minecraftforum.net/topic...our-bee-breeding/page__st__2000#entry22240134 Not 1.5.2 compatible.

I do hope that 1.5.2 is at least half as smooth as the 1.4.6-7 was. The 1.4.6-7 was flawless, here's to hoping that this update is flawless as well.
