Yeah, it's just for convenience. Nice to have all of your recipes in one place.indeed ,but for this pack(one of the mods in the pack adds it ) its nei wont show u the recipe until u have the research done that would be required to see it in the thaumnomicon
Thanks, it worked!
EDIT: This has worked for me however, when my friend does the same thing and searches for the "splash.properties" folder as I did, it doesn't come up/exist.. Anyone know why, thanks
How is he searching for it? Just find the modpack folder (if on Curse, right-click on the modpack icon and select "open folder"). If the config folder or any files in it are missing, the modpack probably didn't download correctly.
I don't think the FTB launcher allows you to open that folder directly. He can see where it downloaded the modpack, by looking in the Options tab. Then just navigate to that folder in Windows.I'll tell him to try re-downloading it but he is on the FTB launcher, going to 'Edit Modpack' --> 'Open Folder' --> and searching for splash.properties which isn't coming up.

That has worked and he got past the Initialising Mods screen (which was a black screen) but now he is at the Mojang screen and he has just frozen there?.. 3:
On a different note, I'm getting lag spikes that last a few seconds every ~10 seconds and its incredibly annoying and also results in many of my deaths.. can anyone help...again? :3 Thanks
