Could you use that to narrow down the RNG game with the seed bags maybe? Have 4 rewards of smaller bags of seeds perhaps for the hand in?

I've gotta second this, if only with the top two levels of bags since they cost a ton of vouchers and it's a pain to get every seed but the one you're looking for over and over again. (Honestly, if I get two seeds I've got copies of, I trade them in via NEI for one I don't yet have. I'd have suggested something like this, turning in spare seeds for others, but that could be abused to grow one seed per tier and turn in the children plants to get all the others, not to mention it'd really up quest count, at least one per magic seed level.)

Also, @Caigan it would appear that Forge Microblocks is incompatible with Biomes O'Plenty blocks. I've not done extensive testing, but a diamond saw refuses to cut giant flower stems, sacred oak logs/planks, and long grass blocks (required to grow giant flowers, if you're wondering).

Also, I may as well say the BoP doesn't have Headcrumbs support for its 3 headed mobs (I'm ignoring phantoms here; the others are jungle spiders that drop spider heads, rosesters which I assume do drop chicken heads, and wasps), but I don't know if such support actually exists or what. Figured I'd let you know either way.
Also, it seems Witchery also doesn't have Headcrumbs support.

Another shop option you could maybe do would be do add in quests to buy Thaumcraft loot bags, but the only snag here would be how you'd explain it plot-wise, and of course increasing the quest count. Maybe a loot bag bag that has a possibility of each of the three bags at different percents? As always, feel free to use/reject anything I suggest, I'm just trying to give you some ideas to work off of. (Also, will Thaumcraft quests be coming anytime soon? I really enjoy following the questbook, and I don't quite want to get into TC "ahead of schedule" so to speak, but I also want to get to the warded blocks so I can start murdering Withers.)

You stayed with 0.0.8 instead of going with 0.0.8.1(which is what I suggested you do anyways, due to 0.0.8.1's issues), so you missed that I more or less did this already. =) You can unlock better RNG chances by gaining enough reputation in all three tracks.

A lot of blocks aren't, mostly FMB auto handles valid microblock stuff on its own.

I have a few mods in line before Thaumcraft, as TC4 is going to be one of those mods that's going to take a lot of my time and planning to do, due to all the cross mods and depth of the mod. This won't be until after I move and settle into the new place next month.

your next update shouldnt be a problem for servers anymore. :)

It has some issues you can mostly resolve with the fixes a few pages back, here specifically. Also by updating Aura Cascade if you plan on using it at all before 0.1.0.

your next update shouldnt be a problem for servers anymore.
Excellent! 1388 is good, but Recurrent Complex doesn't work with it due to a forge bug that I believe is fixed in 1403.

Cool, I knew that much but wasn't sure if there was a config or summat for that, I figured as much but wanted to let you know anyway (I just wasn't sure if it was automatically handled or if there were plugins for each mod), and yeah, Thaumcraft is pretty big but at least it's good to have the vague date of "not soon;" that said, I plan to start into TC anyway and at least get the research stuff done.

Errrrr... How about I just wait.... yes that sound like a better plan. Safer.

Honestly, upgrading isn't that bad unless you're already using Gendustry and/or ender tanks, I believe. The only issue is to pop into Lycanite's general config and nullify the potion effects so your game won't die constantly (assuming, obviously, you're not using Gendustry/ender tanks).

Also, @Caigan not sure if it's been brought to your attention, but your custom recipe to get standard seeds (2 of any type of seeds and floral powder) doesn't work with Pneumaticraft seeds.

Ah, didn't know that.

Will you add EE3 to the Modpack (when it gets released)?
Neither EE3 nor ProjectE will be added to the pack. Mostly because, at default, both mods change things a lot with the EMC exchange, and I'd want to go through and customize the values of everything, disable many things from being exchangeable, etc.

0.1.0 TESTERS AND SERVER OWNERS NOTE

We'll be using Forge version 1388 for now, as a quick test with 1403 crashes, and the log isn't clear WHICH mod is crashing.

I also do not want to update a few mods without a few days of testing as well, so Recurrent Complex will be waiting until the version after 0.1.0, because I just know yet another crash bug is going to sneak in.

I will also probably keep doing this 'early beta' with all the mods that will be updated for the next version from now on.

Can I just say that Blind Bags are crazy addictive? I don't even need most of the stuff I'm getting from them as I just started but I am always choosing them as a reward given the chance. I want to open more! I got a Tiny Potato out of one. He's now my BFF. As I'm alone in the world, I think I should maybe name him Wilson. Uh... before I go crazy, is anyone doing this on a server and how's it working out?

I was hosting a server for a while - kind of taking a break from it for a bit. If anyone's got a public server for the pack that's either just started or starting at 0.1.0, I would probably be able to get 3-4 people to play on it.

I have my "wilson" next to my me terminal. so i have one that spend me friendship and love.
But there are other players on our server and im not desperate lonely. ^^

@caigen I know it is unacceptable to ask for a relese date but we have users who ask me every day :(
do you have a plan which I can refer?

Yeah I am playing on the minefinity Server, I think that is the only bigger public server. Just take a look at the website www.minefinity.org ; the server IP is ferret.minefinity.org and we have a TS Server: ts.minefinity.org

I figure 20 of each tier of BB will show how varied the packs are. Would make for a decent video for the front page.

do you have a plan which I can refer?
I'm HOPING for submitting it Saturday, but I make no promises on that. The update to the Trader rank system is a bit more complex as I work through it, plus I'm making sure Contracts has a very good guide book to go along with it.

Latest I'll be submitting is probably Monday.
