This is something I 'wanted' to do, but I have to keep in mind the max limit of HQM quests, sadly. =(

Is there a limit on reputations you can have? If not, why not have something like a multi-step quest like the ones currently in the store for the higher tier voucher rebates, but with multiple levels that change, so that you can get all the bag levels from one quest, so as to conserve quests?

Or add it as an optional, repeatable last step to the quest that you'd want it to unlock on.

I've never used HQM to make a pack, so feel free to yell at me if you CAN'T do something I suggest.

I've never made HQM quests before, but I'm fairly certain that you can't put unlocking rewards in a quest; you have certain objectives and certain rewards, and you can't dynamically choose within the quest.

EDIT: Otherwise you're paying basic prices for legendary bags by the end of it, or you're paying legendary prices for basic bags since the beginning.

There's a limit to number of tracks you can have as well.

Originally I didn't have Store Voucher system in place, I used Reputation to track funds as well, but I found it fairly easy to trick the system : quests where you need X minimum reputation for that task, the task would be completed and the quest itself complete (if it was the final task) or the next task available, even if another quest lowered your reputation below the minimum.

Since there is no 'submit reputation' task type like there is items, you could easily have 301 'money' reputation, and it'd complete every 'minimum 300 money reputation' tasks you have available. Then you could grab each one, and while you'd be in the negatives in that reputation, that wouldn't matter cause you already got all those tasks finished.

Or add it as an optional, repeatable last step to the quest that you'd want it to unlock on.
Unfortunately, quests are also set up to be 'do all these tasks to get the quest reward', and cannot be sectioned off like that.

I would also love seeing BBs for other mods as well
Basically I do a Blind Bag set when I do a questline for a mod. It helps me sort what tier an item should go in better.

Still, I'd like to be able to have either for...decorative purposes.
Agreed, I'd like to have both even for just decorative purposes (decorating with radioactive material, woo!).

If I can suggest a way to make them easily interchangeable, maybe have each block output the opposite ingots, and have the ingots make their respective block, that way a sort of figure-8 is formed with the recipes. It'd be a little convoluted, obviously, but you could probably make a note of it in the respective quests when they come up, or (if you have a spare quest slot open) make an auto-complete informative one that lists some little quirks like that.

Also, @Caigan any chance that this pack will get Witching Gadgets (Thaumcraft addon)? I mainly ask because I absolutely adore the arcane abacus as an infusion aid. It tells stability (inherent and current bonuses) as well as if any stabilizers are non-symmetrical. I know there's a bunch of other stuff in there that's also really good (and that I sometimes use), but dear god how I love that little abacus.

You know what Blind Bag reward is spectacular once you have a good source of XP, a tank, an Experience Rod, and an uncrafting table? The x64 Solar Generator. It contains an entire stack of diamond blocks. Ofc, it's also a good enough RF gen to power most of an entire base's machine bank, at least until RFTools comes into play.

Fortunately, IC2 uranium isn't lethally radioactive until you process it a bit more.

Edit: Sorry, there was a weird quote block in there.

I've been doing that for pretty much most Legendary Bags.

God I love uncrafting.

Possibly due to Tainted lands being considered a Wasteland, which desert creatures spawn in as well.

Ahh, okay. I figured I'd letcha know in case you weren't aware of that quirk.

Also, @Caigan the Specialty Strong Power Crops: Mundane (I don't have the exact name, haven't unlocked it yet) quest shows a essence of the shards bag on the picture for it in the book, but it's not one of the possible choices. Figured I'd point that out.

I was slightly off, the overarching Mundane quest doesn't list infused seeds as an option, but they are mentioned to be an option from the Gemstone bag in the specialty quest.
Also, the Energetic Magic Seed Bag just gave me lead, and that should only be given out by the Heavy Metal Seed Bag (I did get one from there, too). EDIT: I just got a silver (EDIT EDIT: aluminum, and now gold, too) from there, too. I'm guessing that it has the same possible seeds as the Heavy Metal bag, for whatever reason.

(In case you're wondering how I'm getting all these seeds, let it be said that nether amber ore is stupidly lucrative; I mean, I do have to trash the 2 blocks and the crate and spawn in a precious material shipment, but it's supposed to be that way anyway, so I don't really mind)

Also, I've been meaning to ask, what happened to the RF Tool dimlet purchases in the shop? I remember they were there last version, but now they're gone.

I was slightly off, the overarching Mundane quest doesn't list infused seeds as an option, but they are mentioned to be an option from the Gemstone bag in the specialty quest.
Mostly this is because I wanted to keep more or less the same number of seeds in each bag set, and a common theme with each bag, so infused one really only fit into the gemstone bag.

from there, too. I'm guessing that it has the same possible seeds as the Heavy Metal bag, for whatever reason.
Ah, I accidentally duplicated the Heavy Metal bag config for the Energetic bag config. Already fixed.

Well crud now my game won't load. I was on 0.8 when it happened. I did an upgrade to 0.8.1 with recommended mod updates, but it still won't load.
Strange....try disabling Fast Craft. I'll look into the crash shortly.

Thanks for looking into it.

First thing I tried was disabling fastcraft, but I had the same result. It looks like Thaumcraft right?
Yeah, something in thaumcraft is erroring. It looks like the urn...

Make sure you don't have optifine running either. Try disabling WAILA and WAILA Plugins and WAILA Harvestability as well to see if it loads, looking at some of these...

Another thing, did you try to give yourself, via NEI, loot urns?

I never gave myself urns(I never cheat). I just tried disabling those three WAILA mods, no luck. Also I never use optifine.

I would love to hear any other suggestions. Thanks again Caigan.

Edit: Is there a way to temporarily start the game without Thaumcraft? I tried disabling it but then the instance of minecraft wouldn't start.

Thanks again Caigan.
Hm, go into your world folder, to playerdata folder, and rename/delete the file thats a bunch of letters and numbers (That is your minecraft UUID) and try loading into the world again. It'll reset yoru inventory and position, but it might fix things.

Ok I just tried that and it was a no-go. Still crashed upon entering the game. What was also weird was I still saw items in my bar and armor on right before it crashed (crash before inventory reset?).

Also, while I was in my minecraft folder I checked out the crash reports again and apparently the were two files for every crash. Originally I copied the most recent client crash. I am playing on single playing I didn't think there would be a server crash report, but there was.

Here it is. Also after looking at this I remember what I was doing right when it happened. I was adding doors in a village to increase villager population and there were some of those "Aura" mod blocks (never used the mod). I think the crash occured right when I placed a door right next to one of those aura blocks.

This crash report seems to back that up. Sorry if I'm wasting your time Caigan.

Also, @Caigan any chance that this pack will get Witching Gadgets (Thaumcraft addon)?
I'll look into it in a bit, but I think it might have been one I passed due to it being a bit bigger of an addon.

Also, I've been meaning to ask, what happened to the RF Tool dimlet purchases in the shop? I remember they were there last version, but now they're gone.
They are currently hidden due to the config reset. I'm currently rebuilding each of these crates to re-enable them next version.

Worked like a charm. Thanks a ton!
Awesome! =)

OK, I just want to know if I'm crazy or not. I've spent 3 hours now running around trying to complete "Flora of the World" from the exploration chain under BOP. I've found the first few flowers already. For the life of me, I cannot find the Pink Daffodil, Dandelion Puff, Goldenrod, or the BOP version of Bluebells. Has anyone else encountered this problem? I'm playing on a hosted server and I'm just curious if this is specific to this environment, or if maybe the spawn chances of these flowers is different. I can probably just set up an automated flower patch, but was trying to do it through exploration, in the spirit of the quest chain.
