Takes a while. You will know its working because you will have particle effects around the water just like you do with wood and stone.

oke , i should take it i have to place it the same as the stone or wood ? cause then i know the problem ( my friends tried it on the lvl below the daisy itself )

Water will wash the daisy away if not contained (or unless you use a floating flower) and loose water makes a mess anyway so you want to dig down one block, plant the daisy in the hole, dig a hole in each corner around it, put your water in the holes. (So yes, on the same level as the daisy.)

I believe I have found a bug and not sure if it has been reported. I however have acadamycraft ores generating in my world.
The current version of AcademyCraft does not have a config to disable this. The upcoming 0.9.2 update which brings AC to v1.0.1 will have them disabled.

It wont help, the 1.01 version still spawns ores because of a bug that overwrites the configs.

The ores are pretty sparse, and require late game tech to process/use. Given how little time we spend underground in this pack, just ignore them. You will get seeds for them eventually.

ANOTHER TOPIC (sorry i just don't want to double post)

Anyone having trouble with high altitudes? I built a huuuuge ladder and a platform at 250 blocks high, with the intention of having my wind generators at max height. It's causing me all kinds of troubles. It's not the wind generators, it's just having blocks at that height period.

I've done some reading, and it might have something to do with lighting? Anyone know a workaround?

Mobs (hostile + squid at the very least) also rapidly spawn and despawn if they're 128 blocks away from you vertically (in a sphere), which can be easily seen with squid while at ~192 or so above water or with endermen in the end. Having blocks high in the sky can trigger the same problem (and anything at 128+ also causes additional updates iirc, but that on its own shouldn't contribute much). The mob (de)spawning is probably the biggest problem you'd run into, but there's been many other issues with high elevations so it could be any number of things, honestly.

Most height based things generally stop the extra benefits above 118 or so to avoid the lag issues. I'm not sure about the wind generators you're using though, check a wiki for it and they usually have a max height benefit listed.

yeah they get height beneifits right up to 251 where they max out at 96rf/t or whatever.

I'm gonna see if I can hack the config to have them get max RF at a lower altitude, cause that's super annoying. i dont even have to be up there to cause the problem, just having blocks up there crashes the server after a few minutes.

EDIT: in mekanism.cfg you can change
I:WindGenerationMaxY=128
It is default 255, if you set it to 128, you get the max output (96RF/t) at height 128. it's a little cheaty, but given that it's pretty much impossible to install them at 255, i consider it a good alternative.

Were those the ones you needed to replace the blades on every so often?

Remembered something about the squid issue at heights of y>192 and a solution that was found:
I did some googling, and find this neat little mod: http://minecraft.curseforge.com/projects/squidless
Installed it both on my server and client, problem solved! Now I'm rocking 9 turbines each at 192RF/t at Y 251! :D

Particularly when you remember that the altar draws power from a CUBE! 29x29x29, centered on the LAST block you place to form the alter.
For anyone doubting the silly dragon. This statement is correct 29x29x29 cube is the range of power draw, that's 14 in all 6 directions from the last placed block of the altar.

Guys! I just found out about the Regrowth Wiki on Wikia! I'm super excited about it! Did you know about this? I've read every post on this forum, but that's over the course of almost the whole time it's existed so I might have just forgotten it if I did read a post about it. Well, if you didn't know, now you do! I'm totally gonna contribute, I was so bored today up until now.

Any ideas why my Hobgoblin disappeared? He was happily mining iron ore, and then, gone. His lead still appeared to be attached to the fence post but when I right-clicked it it disappeared as well.

*Edit* Ah, it suffocated and died. I'm trying to get a Rannuncarpus to place ore blocks in such a way that the Hobgoblin mines them but doesn't suffocate. Any ideas?

Also, I built a house with a door but I can't get the Hobgoblin to trade.

If you have the ore get placed on top of a fence block (probably best with the fence embedded in the ground) and underneath another solid block, the hobgoblin shouldn't be able to get inside the block space where the ore would be placed.

If you want to use a Rannuncarpus, what thephoenixlodge stated should work fine. You can also use a "Use" golem from thaumcraft, which will not place blocks if there is something in the way.

Nope, they still go onto the fences and take damage.

*Edit* Got it - slabs around the iron ore does the trick!

I built my first evaporation chamber before I had the power of flight, so i had to use a scaffolding. i've never seen it from the top. Now I can fly, i wonder what my base looks like from the air.

Oh crap, somebody give me a wrench, quick!
