Nice, can't wait to see what that permanent base turns into! I'm trying to work out my Witchery/tree area, and my Botania mound needs a lotta love, but overall this is happiest I've been with a world in a long time. Keeping things spaecd apart has been helpful. Also have plans to make a sandy beach with an underwater area for fish breeding and stuff.

Nice! I have my actual base underground, my bed and and a few chests when I first started the world.

Grrr, actually found a real end portal, went to get ender air bottles for tiara, platform is at least 50 blocks from nearest island (worst end spawn I have ever had) and the dragon promptly knocked me off into the void. Gonna take a few days to recover lol.

Were you wearing the Tectonic Girdle by any chance? I wonder if it protects from that kind of knockbacks.

Does the Ring of Chordata need to be those two fish? Or can it be any two fish?

I think the easiest way to get those particular fish that I've found is to make the vanilla fishing rod and get the lure enchant on it. The vanilla rod doesn't need bait to work, and it seems to mostly grab the mariculture versions of the minecraft fish, which means clownfish, pufferfish, salmon, and cod (cod is a weird case, I think it replaced the mariculture version of the vanilla little blue fish in terms of being on the fishing rng table).

Finally got around to binding myself a familiar... Now looking for coven witches. Only found 3 witch circles on my rather large continent, and only one of them had a coven witch near it... Is there any way to find coven witches that isn't going to make my world folder 10gb?

Not that I've seen. You could always use MCEdit to delete the extra chunks after you've searched them though.
WARNING: Make sure your familiar is visibly sitting in one of the chunks you aren't resetting, they have a tendency to get caught in chunks when they fall behind if you move too fast for the teleporting mechanic to keep up, which with just a sojourner's sash is surprisingly easy to do.

This. Get those first few sprinklers up ASAP and the rest of the work becomes much more bearable. I skip the big RC water tank and just manually fill the Agricraft tanks from an infinite pool nearby.

The RC tanks are awful, unless you build near an ocean biome. I got tired of manually filling and setup a sluice instead. That block is probably a tad overpowered for this, but I'll take it! At that point, why not water EVERYTHING.

I fill my RC tank with smelted water essence via a very long pipe.. :)

What is the range of the witchery altar?

If it hasn't been tweaked, it's a 15 block radius. I just got done laying out a circle (thank you Plotz) that just intersects my redwood tree animal farm, and I'm lighting it up with Glint Weed before spacing a nice grove around the edge. After that, I'm going to put in a small moat (with lily pads!) somewhere in the grove around a 3x3 hollow stone platform to put my cauldron on, so that I don't keep lighting all the pretty nature on FIRE!

Seriously, I even tried putting the cauldron in a room underneath the altar, and it still caught my flippin' fences on fire. I lost my peony in that conflagration. Remember: Only you can prevent floral fires.

Actually found out that the coven witches seem to randomly respawn at the circles. So got 6 now lol. Now to get rid of this wasteland...

I would gladly trade the dozen or so around my island for a witch circle... can't find one nowhere within 5 thousand blocks of my base

They have a chance to be replaced by the straw man or goblin hut structures. I suspect that that chance was changed in the latest updates, I now find straw men and goblins everywhere with little to no witch circles.

Here's my map with whopping 7 circles marked:

You can probably solve that by editing some witchery file, then going into ungenerated chunks to find your witches.

I'll be honest with you... your infusion altar "room" looks a bit small. Iirc, the altar looks out in a 12 block radius on the x and z for stability. Otherwise I'm quite liking your layout :)

edit: (Not saying your giant under-room doesn't cover that, but I'd be careful about placing things above/around)

So I just had a crash when I installed a Gold Kinesis pipe into my power so it would feed into some of the Basic Universal Cables, then into the Flux box bank I made. I think I broke it with too much power storage. lol

Tried using MCedit to remove the Kinesis pipes and still crashed. Going to try removing the universal cables next.

update: removed the cables and the first flux box they fed into clearing the loop. so no crash now. unfortunately I accidently removed the Commercial Steam Engine and Boiler along with pipes feeding into them. Oh well I was considering upgrading to the Industrial Engine. Guess I have an excuse to now. lol
