Also to paraphrase point 3, there are many of us who are cunning enough to find loopholes in the Spiritworlds travel to sugest ways and means around that, as long as the loopholes dont close on us ;)

Just tried to use a floating rannucarpus I had placed before updating from .65 to .72, and it is now ignoring the target block beneath it and just placing blocks everywhere. This holds true even after replacing the flower to see if it was a simple "lost track of coord" bug. I can also confirm that it worked before the update, which makes me sad, cause it's part of my automated livingrock setup I'll need for blood magic. XD

Also, I've just tried the second generation of minnows from the quest reward of fish eggs, and when I threw them into the fish feeder UI, it deleted all the fish food reserves inside it, for no apparent reason. Is this supposed to happen, even if the fish food tank is full?

Is the block directly below it, or two blocks below?

The version of Botania in .72 had this change:
  • Floating Rannuncarpus flowers will now use the block directly below them rather than the block 2 blocks below.

There are loopholes like the vanilla enderchest which are usable by witchery and then there are things like the tool belt which BREAKS the spirit world xD your not meant to be able to bring your inventory over. It's due to the fact witchery cant un-equip your baubles etc.

Goodness, working on my first play through of 0.7.2 and I must say I like it so far, but does it really have to take ~25 sprouts to get a seed to 10/10/10? It only took ~10 in 0.6.5 normally.

They just need a water block to suck up. In order to keep one close, need to make sure there are enough source blocks to replace the one they take, that's all. Thus 3x3 vs 2x2. With 2x2 (and 4 on the corners) they eventually synch in such a way that two blocks get grabbed before they replenish and that leads to all of them getting wiped out. With 3x3 this hasn't happened to me ever.

You can put water on all sides of them if you like, but I haven't seen any indication it boosts their output.

The only thing that may boost their rate is rain. That's mentioned in the Botania book.
Hydroangeas search randomly for water in every direction. Having more than one water block available means they drink more often, which means more mana. I verified this in an earlier version of Botania. It should still be the case.

....and the difference been is...? Either way we are inserting items into the Spirit realms that really shouldn't be there if we to be lore friendly, but we are powerful witches and warlocks are we not?

An unfortunate side effect of the method used to remove the "sugarcane to 10/10/10 with one seed" exploit.

I'm kinda stuck.
I want to progress in both Thaumcraft and witchery according to quests, but they are not appearing.
I have finished the thouminomican quest, and the wand and couldron quest. I have also done the oven and fume quests. What do I do to expand?

They could be gated due to a lack of rep in that area. If you have more seeds to make or rune quests or such, do them and see if you can get past the gate.

Along with what was said above, make sure you're actually crafting all the resources from essence that you have available.

Does anybody knows if the kettle recipe for the Brew of Floawing Spirit is working? I read recently that the Spirit World is not avalaible yet, but I need the brew to complete the quest. Maybe I'm failing dropping the items, but apparently this is my third miss D:

If anyone's interested, I re-vamped the seed section of the inventory tweaks item tree file to sort all the seeds we're currently using.

Just replace the seed section in the configuration file with the custom seed code below.
Code:
<seed>
    <vanilla>
        <seedWheat id="minecraft:wheat_seeds"/>
        <seedCarrot id="AgriCraft:seedCarrot"/>
        <seedPotato id="AgriCraft:seedPotato"/>
        <seedSugarCane id="AgriCraft:seedSugarcane"/>
        <seedCactus id="AgriCraft:seedCactus"/>
        <seedPumpkin id="minecraft:pumpkin_seeds"/>

On the fish part, I've seen this behavior pretty consistently since o.65. I don't fill the feeder, just put in what is enough for one run of the current pair. If you're short, it just stops and you can add more. I usually have too much fish meal anyway.
