It's already "op" with the water block from xycraft. I'm sure you can cope with 3 buckets/blocks around your AA acting as an infinite source. No need to merge the 2 together otherwise it'd be pointless even having water in the game.

If your client freezes before loading the main menu when you have OPTIFINE it's because you have the WRONG version. Make sure you have the right version for the mine craft you're playing. Most FTB are running 1.4.7. So you need the OPTIFINE for 1.4.6/7

D5 was the most recent one for 1.4.6/7 any thing after that is for 1.5.x

Make sure you have the correct version. Needs to be optifine for 1.4.6 for most FTB packs. Place it in instmods folder If done correctly It should be listed on the minecraft main menu at the bottom

You'll need to get the 1.4.6/1.4.7 compatible version. Open FTP launcher and select "edit mods" Under the second tab (first being main mods. Third being core mods) intmods.. I think. Click add mod button. Select your optifine downloaded file. Run game as normal.

Have you got optifine installed? Have settings like distance on normal. Put on optimised loading not multicore. Normal grass. Fancy leaves.

Funny. But yes. Have you got java 64bit installed and no other version..? Uninstall all javas and redownload 64 bit version.
