i've tried this and it seems to have even worsened my fps :/ down from 6-10 to 0-7 :/

I never had anny issues with optifine and mods up until the last update of your pack :/ Do you have any reccomendation then as to how to increase the performance on weeker pcs ?

Apparently there is a problem with chunks not loading properly, nick is trying to get hold of our host, but he's away atm.

Thats because in 1.1.5 Natura.jar had 0bytes = there was no natura :D that's why we're going 1.1.6 now :)
