Here's my attempt at then vs. than. "Then" means "at that other time." "Than," as stated about eight times, is the conjunction to use when you're comparing things. So if you can replace then/than in your sentence with "at that other time", you want "then." Otherwise you want the other one. :)

I think slay_mithos got to the key solution. Feed the power from the solar panels into one or more batboxes (and later upgrade the batbox to an MFE). The batboxes will store the power and give you a consistent output that your machines will be happy with.

This is what I use my saplings and apples for. Just be aware that you won't get enough apples to keep the fermenter supplied with juice 100 percent of the time. Eventually you'll have to cut over to water.

Another vote here for routers, but you really need to find a logic matrix programmer in a dungeon before you can upgrade them effectively to work with machines, plus they're a little confusing to set up with multiple upgrades. But when it works it's magic.

OK, my mistake. Is it not burning them or am I completely off my rocker? I personally use two cargo managers with an automatic crafting table making planks between them, and a couple of gates designed to stop pumping if the second one gets full.

AFAIK raw logs aren't a valid fuel anyway - it should choose the saplings in that setup regardless.

Yep, splitter cable triggered manually is probably your best bet. EDIT: Just started playing with the gates now that you mentioned it. Brilliant idea.

Glad to hear you guys are considering background images. The ones the vanilla John Smith pack uses for the crafting table, furnace, dispenser, etc., mostly eliminate the readability problem.

Yeah, it's weird. I have two identical Dell PCs I sometimes play on (literally the same model from the same batch, both work-provided). One of them works great with Optifine, and the other doesn't work at all. I guess a big part of that is probably that I do a bunch of background tasks on one...

It remembers the first place you installed it from. Go under Options and change the Install folder setting to whatever you want, delete that stuff from your desktop, and relaunch. It'll install itself in the proper folder.
