So I'd like to set-up a server for just a few people 4 propbably maximum, using monster but I'm not sure how much I'll need to buy the vps, so does anyone know of a very cheap and reliable host I could use? I was looking at about $10 I have £8. Would convert to direwolf20 if need be.

Thanks for the information. How would I go about the server client side you mentioned? As I think I will just do it that was then I have far less a chance of my PC over heating and such.

So, is it possible to have my single player server be on all the time without the need of my computer being on 24/7 and without having to buy a VPS to create a server? I'd like to be able to chunk load things while I'm away from my computer for my machines to continue working..

With those JVM arguments added I average about 109 fps I'm still sure I can get higher but I'll settle with this :P
