Setting Up a Server?

So I'd like to set-up a server for just a few people 4 propbably maximum, using monster but I'm not sure how much I'll need to buy the vps, so does anyone know of a very cheap and reliable host I could use? I was looking at about $10 I have £8.

Would convert to direwolf20 if need be.
