How can you be 100% sure if you don't even know how the heat system is supposed to work? Let me guess: you installed a kinetic generator and ran around a bunch. Well, guess what. The kinetic generator produces heat. That's what the big bar full of lava on the right hand side of the screen is...

Are you saying I should be nice to you even though you're lazy, whiny, stupid, rude, and now patronizing towards me? How does this even make sense inside that mushy brain of yours?

lol thanks. consider 'you all' to be referring to people who just post and post without thinking or doing any research or putting in any effort to try and solve their own problem.

The only thing I've seen you 'try' is being whiny, lazy, and an armchair programmer. If you actually do write the code for a thaumic goggles module and submit it as a pull request, I will accept it and apologize for calling you worthless. Until then, stop posting. Yah I put in a pull request...

It drains based on the location in your inventory, starting with your helmet, chest, legs, boots, then the top row of your inventory, then the 2nd row, and so on.

It's actually like that because there is no API call to do what the goggles do and the overlay is the only thing I could do without externally forcing updates of node data. But thanks for your uninformed, worthless opinion and incoherent rant about 'problems' you're too lazy to make sure...

yep! In addition, I didn't like how the armor part worked. Most people (myself included) would just skip over plating wherever possible.

    Something The Modding Community "Ruined"

Err, I mean with MPS in general, not that specific aspect. to summarize: 1) outdated, spaghettified codebase, half of which is in java still 2) nobody has contributed any new models, which is disappointing, and the customization ui didn't turn out how I wanted it anyway 3) a lot of it just...

More news about FTB's Future. (Important announcement)

And the product is T-shirts and coffee mugs, not the mods themselves. Did you even read the OP? People will never ever be asked to pay to use the FTB launcher, to download any mod pack or for any updates.

I'm trying! I had plans for this with MPS but I'm not going to re-explain why I'm fed up with it. One of the first mechanics of Anima, which I'm working on right now, is to feed animals in order to catch the attention of their associated 'great spirit' who will then provide you with means to...

got a 1.6.2 build working pretty well and managed to fix some of the crashes brought about by smart moving support in 1.5.2 :D and now I have them building in tandem as well. http://build.technicpack.net/job/Machine-Muse-Power-Suits/ so proud!

Or maybe, like with pretty much everything, there are advantages and drawbacks to each and neither is strictly superior. Java gives you more fine-grained control over the resulting bytecode. This can be a good thing, as in the performance-criticalness and single-threadedness of rendering. But...

    Dumb Modular Powersuit Tricks

Long have we wandered, fought, mined, and built. Long have we struggled against the forces of nature - against creepers, lava, hunger, and the crush of gravity. Long have we seen the soil as merely a neutral party, an object to be shaped according to our need and desire and exploited to fuel our...
