Why not just set up an export bus into (I'm guessing) a DSU set to export and craft compressed cobble. You could try lots of crafting cpus to speed it up.

How about using a PIM from open peripheral to send spoils bags into your inventory to generate their contents then extract them and send them to a turtle to auto open them. Of course you would have to stay stationary on the PIM for a long time.

I think you place the me bridge as a block and wrap it as a peripheral.

At 70% hull heat entities start taking damage, at 85% things start turning into lava (and of course at 100% it explodes). I don't know if there is a set up that could go from 70% to 85 or 100 faster than a cow would die from radiation but if there is then that would be a danger.

Unleashed is probably your best bet. Unhinged is meant to be very difficult and I don't think there is anything in the Direwolf20 pack that isn't in Unleashed.

Have a look at the wiki. You'll want a crafting pipe on a logistics crafting table. Set them both to make planks from logs and connect a supplier to your boiler set to supply planks.

The phantom blocks are from railcraft's tracking aura I think. I think the block.hidden in the railcraft config is the phantom block.

Buildcraft pipes and redpower tubes don't connect to each other so that won't work. Filters and transposers will throw items but only a few blocks and I don't think the speed that the item is travelling down the tube will affect the distance thrown.

Tubes only send items if there is a destination. If there was an inventory that was then removed (that is what you mean with your temporary inventory work around right?) the item will bounce back. Buildcraft pipes will drop items so you could make a really long line of gold pipes and fire...
