There aren't any wood chopping bees yet, the best you can have is bees, that produce sawdust or pulp. I wouldn't want any wood products made from trees, where these bees lived close by. They're prone to be full of little holes :)

Use Thermal Generators from GT for 30k EU or Combustion Engines for 20k MJ. Geothermal Generators produce 20k EU and Magmatic Engines produce 18k MJ.

Well, I use it for recreation and it fulfills that job, so I'd disagree on everything being useless, since its main use (for me) is fulfilled.

This is the typical problem, if users update their versions and talk about that, but the main pack is still a bit out of date.

the cart looks horizontally, if it finds wood, then checks upwards for the rest of the tree. If horizontally is only a sapling, no check will be made, since there is no tree above a sapling (why should it be there?), thus resulting in that permanent tree-above-sapling problem.

If you want to use only vanilla saplings, use the MFR bioreactor (was added in 2.3, no FTB pack is updated to that version). If the mod author doesn't change his values for 1.5.1, you'll get more biofuel per sapling than with fermenter+still and don't have to invest MJ for the conversion, too...

Just as a reminder for 1.5 If the numbers don't change, a bioreactor with only one type of fermentable will produce slightly more biofuel than a fermenter+still with vanilla (unidentified) saplings. This is important, if your automated sapling generator cannot use forestry trees...

Are you sure about that? I had a thaumium sword with repair on it and in some regions of the nether it repaired itself for a while.
