Using my goggles of revealing, I noticed that there was no aura in the End. Is there a way to create an aura node in the End? My original thought was to grow silverwood trees, but I found out that you need aura in order to do so. Is there something I can do with crystal clusters/cores to cause an aura node to spawn, or are other dimensions simply unable to have renewable sources of vis?

Nether and End are the only dimensions without any aura. Twilight Forest and any age created through Mystcraft have normally generated aura.
Also, you might be able to get a silverwood tree to grow if you had a particularly powerful tool related to growing things...

Are you sure about that? I had a thaumium sword with repair on it and in some regions of the nether it repaired itself for a while.
Hmm... maybe around naturally spawning Netherwort, there might be, but I've never seen a node or aura in the Nether before. Then again, I was loaded for defense and was equipped with throwaway armor rather than my expensive goggles. It might be possible, I suppose.
In the nether, use crystal clusters to restore depleted nodes.
