    Bee's not mutating.

First: Spawned in a wintry queen and inoculated it with temperature tolerance. Then i set it in an apiary in a plains biome, so no snowcovers nearby. With a flower present, it worked. With the flower removed, it didn't want to work, complaing about missing flowers. Second: Went to a cold biome...

    Bee's not mutating.

Be careful with believing the content there. For example it stated before my edit, that a Wintry Bee needs snowcover instead of flowers. This is false (just tested it to be 100% sure).

Having an issue with Routers and Centrifuge.

Place a hopper above the centrifuge and let the router fill the hopper? It's not the direct answer to your question, but may be a workaround.

    Steam Power Tips and FAQ

A week ago I tested, with which values in the config an AA can keep a 36HP boiler fed with water. It turns out, that reducing the number from 25 to 5 kept it fed, with 4 it slowly lost water. Since probably no admin of a server will reduce that value below 6 (= needed number to keep a combustion...

Ask a simple question, get a simple answer

35.64 buckets of biofuel per hour (15.84*20*60*60/32000) are burned. One fertilizer produces 200 (cycles) * 0.056 (biomass per cycle) = 11.2 buckets of biomass (=3.36 buckets of biofuel), one mulch/compost produces 250*0.048=12 buckets of biomass (=3.6 buckets of biofuel). 35.64/3.36 ~ 10.6...

    Non-renewable Items?

Also the silverfish blocks take a bit longer to break. If you react fast enough, you can stop before the break. My '?' is the SHIFT of the 'ß', to the right of the '0' (while my '.' is two right of the 'M').

I did bee math! (Now with more usability!)

This means I can use 4 of your frames (2^4 production boost) and 5 soul frames from Binnie (1.5^5 mutation boost), correct?

I did bee math! (Now with more usability!)

I just found this in the beta changelog for Forestry for 1.5.x: So in the next forestry don't use more than 3 untreated/impregnated/proven frames (for production boost) or soul frames (for mutation boost) in your alveary until further notice. I chose 3 as the safe numbers, since you can put 3...

So... Why are the Voxel mods in FTB anyway?

Or simply use NEI and search for the clock.

I did bee math! (Now with more usability!)

We have all the numbers only on the bee pages, but not collated into one big table. Currently they show the timeframe as given by the apiarist database (converted to minutes where necessary), but soon™ it will switch to base % chances instead, using the formula...

    Forestry Bee Help

    a) Always use frames (untreated/impregnated/proven) when you want products, in this case the honey combs. b) You could try to breed to cultivated, because they are fast workers (if you don't breed it out by accident).

How to get the best bee to fuel your boilers.

To be more precise with this: A bee can at best produce 1 of each product from the primary allele, 1 of each product (with half the chance) from the secondary allele and 1 of each specialty from the primary allele. For pure bees the quoted text is correct, I just wanted to clarify that for the...

Need Help, losing all biomass over night

Are you losing biomass that is pumped into liquiducts? Are these liquiducts crossing chunk boundaries? From the changelog for 2.3 (the version for MC1.5.1): -Bugfix: Fixed a rare corner case where a bad interaction with chunkloading mechanics would cause Liquiducts to lose liquid.

How to get the best bee to fuel your boilers.

Regarding frames: Each untreated/impregnated/proven frame doubles the chance to receive a product on each production cycle (550 ticks = 27.5 seconds). A bee can at best produce 2 of each product and 1 of each specialty on such a cycle. Let's have a look at the refined bee, assuming enough frames...

    Forestry Bee Help

I think you confuse mutation and breeding. When you breed a princess and a drone together, the resulting offspring will take one allele from the princess and one from the drone. By choosing the princess and drone carefully, you can with a bit of luck and time refine your offspring into the best...

    Got Wood? Use it!

He uses DW20 -> no GregTech -> no Scaffolding nerf. In a GT environment just use a sawmill for maximizing gain. I haven't done the math, if the TE sawmill or the GT sawmill would produce more EU, when all the energy used for intermediate steps has been substracted. Bonus for TE sawmill + powered...

    Steves Cart tree farm question

Advanced Detector Rail (content of this post was copied from this URL) This rail is manly used with the Cargo Manager, the Module Toggler and the Detector Manager. They can also be used to stop the cart and then let it go when applied with a redstone signal. In that case, they prevent the cart...
