This is only true for the Valiant Bee and the Austere Bee. The only other bees (currently), which are picky about their specialty production, are the bees of the monastic branch, which need to be alone (no living entity insider their territory).

Austere Bee and Valiant Bee need their preferred temperature/humidty to produce their specialties. The Monastic Branch needs to be alone (no entity in their territory). All bees from Extra Bees and Magic bees don't have any special needs.
