Ultimate vs Unleashed vs Unhinged, which has more/better conent/longevity?

I've always loved gregtech. I generally bump all difficulties up to max on hardcore mode. Makes the game last ALOT longer for me.

My concern is which pack will allow my game to last longer?
Really wanting to upgrade to the new packs (unleashed/unhinged)

Looks like unleashed has more modpacks, does this directly correlate to more content?
Unhinged has gregtech, which inclides more end game content, but loses out on quite a bit of mods from unleached.

If I am aiming for more content that will make my game last longer, which modpack do you suggest?

Depends on your playstyle. Do you explore every mods abilities to the end? Then more mods (Unleashed) will work out better in the end. Do you stay mostly with a smaller collection of used features? Then the grind of GregTech (Unhinged) will keep you working longer. Ultimate is too old, so take it out of the picture.

Put Gregtech in Unleashed? That is always an option. Just a few ID's to change and it works.

Greg does not play well with others. He intentionally crashed the game when a ModPack he didn't like was enabled. Brilliant guy with a great mod, but he has a reputation of not playing well with others. Hence, Unhinged (GregTech) vs. Unleashed (pretty much everything except GregTech). Lots of threads on this.

To answer the question, Ultimate is closed with 1.4.7 . Unleashed is officially the kitchen sink sans GT, and Unhinged is GT. Unleashed or its children will keep going and Unhinged will keep going as long as Greg keeps going. See other threads for more info.

But the fact remains you can add GT to Unleashed if you wish, it just won't be included officially. Hence why I recommended if he wants GT AND the mods of Unleashed, to just add GT to unleashed (And here is the link to how I got it to work: http://forum.feed-the-beast.com/threads/ftb-unhinged-or-unleashed.26904/page-2 post #26) That's currently what I am running (as well as Better Dungeons and Advanced Machines, removed millenaire from my pack due to I found it over-writing Thaumcraft mounds and vanilla dungeons)... since Logistics Pipe is now base).

For me it's Unleashed, since it's basically the successor to Ultimate. I'm not liking where GT has gone lately (I loved it in 1.4.7 though), so no Unhinged for me

Agreed. I was more of a fan of Gregtech as a IC2 Extender, not an overhaul, as it was in early 1.4.7 days.

I'll be going with Unleashed and if I get bored, I'll probably have a second singleplayer world in Unhinged because that might be fun.

I'll be disabling Dartcraft though, thats for sure.
