    I'll try FTB Infinity next, its well-maintained, popular, and has a lots of mods I know and many I do not. And the client doesn't take all the RAM players have, or ever will have.

    That looks promising. I've never done 1.10.2 and a kitchen sink pack sounds like the way to go. I'll try it and see. ** Wow that's one ram-hungry pack. 6.5GB to run on my PC. That would rule out a lot of potential players I think**

    Profile the server with Warmroast, or Opis, or your tool of choice whilst crafting and see what turns up.

    Backup your world, edit forge.cfg (in configs) and set the two entries that mention erroring entities and blocks to True, then try launching again. If it works, close and set those entries back to False and launch again.

    Windows 10, Intel HD, and latest Java have issues sometimes, try http://cdn.lemonmc.com/jre-8u25-windows-x64.exe if you are still stuck.
