Also, mob heads, as most not-grinder mob farms give you so many that it's silly.

Gendustry really is your friend, not least because it allows you to not only force a mutation, but also to direct it. The blocks that you really need to be aware of would be the Advanced mutatron, industrial apiary, and, optionally, the sampler and imprinter (and accompanying mutagen producer, I...

Hit the connection with your wrench-like thing (quartz wrench, precision sledgehammer, crescent hammer), and it should go to the red arrow. Then it'll either need a redstone signal, or to be set to ignore redstone (need a servo) for it to actually pull.

    ME spatial storage...disappointing?

Could also be interesting for making a base better (cobble > pretty block replace), or if you could tile a block pattern. Also, does it work on the interesting vanilla creations, like the End portal? Do Nether portals retain their end-points? There are quite a few things that could be...

My usual method (i.e. before all the automation kicks of properly) is to take the watering can to my 3x3 carrot farm, and compost the results. Other popular methods are: - Make a shear and compost leaves (careful about sapling supply on that one) - Compost rotten flesh from your darkroom To be...

    ME spatial storage...disappointing?

If there's nothing in the config, then I'm not sure that YOU can change it. Remembering back to the DW20 spotlight, I think he said that it was down to mod authors to opt in to it in an api.

    ME spatial storage...disappointing?

Yeah, from what I recall, the default response for a block that it doesn't know is to not move it. It was a decision made to prevent it from messing with bits of mods.

I'd say that, given that one complete set of the Ex Nihlo stuff DOES smelt in it, it's intended, especially as it's the "most processed" form, and only affects the high oven (which was known to be an uber quick and convenient way of smelting (high fuel efficiency, high speed, no alloying). I...

Eh, particularly with such a pointed pack as this (especially when that change was obviously intended), I prefer to play as intended. Plus, being on a personal server, it's more of a PITA to mess with configs.

Start a 3.0.1 world, and decide to hold myself back a little. I don't want the hoardes of crucibles, so I decide to focus on Blood Magic, and power things with the blood of the innocent. So, anyway, get that setup, and everything's working just fine. Set up smeltery to process the ores, but it's...

    Ftb Unstable

In the other thread on this topic, in which you have posted, there was mention of mods requiring conflicting forge versions. You can't update a pack if one half of it needs forge XXX, and the other half needs XXY, and crashes on XXX. I know that the pack is called Unstable, but it at least...

What's my best option to play 1.7.2 pack?

Eh, you've still got the problem of conflicting mod versions (as previously mentioned with respect to Forge), and configs (generation, interactions, etc.), and any kind of server install you're wanting. Don't get me wrong, removing ID conflicts (by moving to a name based, rather than ID based...

Early Power In A Legitimate Survival

My usual methods (I'm not too keen on nether lava) would be to use something around. Either an oil spout that was nearby (the refinery only takes a bunch of glass and 4 diamonds, manual refilling is easily enough to get you power until you get further), or possibly look into tree farms. If...

Have you tried a chest? Tesseracts should auto-output, so if it's not appearing in an attached chest, then it's not actually being sent properly, and you need to look at the other end.

Yes, the standard progression is to get the first activator on gravel, for more diamonds and emeralds. After that, you can start sifting whatever you want.

I felt like there was enough going on at that point to keep me going. Sure, you were grinding for emeralds (the only thing you really need to get you going), but you are sifting that stuff anyway. Take a look at the quest book, see if there's anything you can do. Quest rewards are nice ways to...

Composting is a reliable, steady way of obtaining it. The alternative would be to set up a water/ender-thermic pump/ender quarry system to generate large pillars of it, and use something like a bound shovel to harvest it. It's doable, but takes a lot of work, and is continuous harvesting. As...

    Power for Agrarian skies?

You don't need a constant source, provided that you are able to get the water back. If your throughput isn't enough on the return, then you'll need to replace the stuff you don't get back.

    Power for Agrarian skies?

Yes, but there's a caveat. It uses a LOT of water and steam. More than fluiducts can transfer, most of the time. The optimum solution would probably be to use a tesseract (no input/output limit). I would also add another with aquaeous accumulators, to jump start it at the beginning.

    Agrarian Skies fluiduct problems

Or, you could take a TiCo chisel to a piece of redstone, and get yourself something that functions identically to a redstone block. The trade-off being that I don't think that it's reversible (tbh, I've never tried. Lack of redstone wasn't an issue for me after making a bloodwood farmer).
