Torches are an idea, ladders are a bit of a pain to craft, and don't do much afterwards other than clog up inventory. To be honest, I quite like the feel of transforming a structure to leaves and watching them crumble. Feels a little more magical to me. Plus, there are plenty of the things.

Been using it as my main flight mechanic in Agrarian Skies, it's not too bad, the resonant one has a decent life. I'm not too fond of the hover mode being some strange confluence of creative-mode flight and standard jet-packy stuff.

Hmm. Might have been me trying to pull out a specific thing (imbued slates, as I recall) in their infusion cycle. Gave an error relating to crafting lookup and refused to start the server (or rather would start, until it loaded the altar, when it would crash). I'll sort out a bug report tomorrow.

No, if you're wanting to optimise your FPS, change it to tiny. Like I said, if you want to make it workable, change all graphics options to their lowest settings. Your experience will take a hit, but it might actually be playable.
