There are files there for my local vanilla play through. I think the multimc thumb install saw those files and didn't setup quite right. I'll try GreenZombie's step through. If it doesn't work for some reason I might go back to the multimc version.
Thank you for the step by step GreenZombie.
zBob, I tried that first. I got it to play on the desktop I created it on but something didn't get copied so it wouldn't work elsewhere.
Does anyone know how I could setup a portable minecraft instance with the age of engineering pack on it. Either to run off a thumb drive or to be copied back and forth via a thumb drive.
Thanks in advance.
I would assume the other end is chunk loaded somehow. Otherwise the drives wouldn't have been able to be sent, no destination. You should be able to see what Chunks you or your friend are loading and check there.
You can but keep in mind that the next time the pack updates it may downgrade it again, might want to note what version it is and what version you update to. If it downgrades you run the Rick of items/blocks being removed due to no longer being valid.
Sorry, meant the chunk breeding limit of the breeder from dark utilities. It stops breeding when there are, I believe 45 entities in the chunk. So I spread them out to avoid one of the 4 passives being skipped
I've used this setup myself a few times. Works very well. Just make sure you have at least 5 pairs of parents and that each stack is in a different chunk, to prevent reaching chunk breeding limit.
I'm still missing MFR. I know it was overly cheep for what all it did but it still had one of the best set it and forget it treefarm solutions not to mention ranchers for all your passive mob bit needs.
I usually have a munchdew or 2 in the middle of a 9x9 farm with a rf tools builder set to only mine wood, leaves the leaf blocks for the munch to clear out
DTE limit is 40k, 2x and ender conduit. Still nothing like tesseracts though. Flux plug is probably your best bet. Just make sire to unchecked the "limit output" option.
You can also setup a skeleton spawner in a nether fortress and it will spawn withers from time to time.
Just fine one of the stair rooms, with the nether wart beside the stairs.
Flatten the floor and fill the wart garden spaces with nether brick.
Close off one of the doors and setup a mob...
