    [1.7.10] Pathfinder [Peaceful][HQM][Tech][Adventure][Listed]

Did you see my reply? You are using the dialing device wrong. Do not doubleclick.

    [1.7.10] Pathfinder [Peaceful][HQM][Tech][Adventure][Listed]

Receiver too far too hilight means you are not using it right. You are using the doubleclick feature to hilight a receiver that is near you. You need to dial a transmitter to a receiver (select both a transmitter and receiver in the dialing device and hit the 'dial' button). Do not...

    [1.7.10] Pathfinder [Peaceful][HQM][Tech][Adventure][Listed]

Some thoughts about the future option to allow sleeping in RFTools dimension. If that option is selected one has to be aware that sleeping is a global event (over all dimensions) and is actually tied to the overworld. So (I haven't tested this yet) I guess that sleeping will make sure it is no...

    [1.7.10] Pathfinder [Peaceful][HQM][Tech][Adventure][Listed]

Not the way I'm going to do it. I'm overriding the default behaviour that occurs when right-clicking a bed. If I'm in a RFTools dimension I go to my own code (which does not check for biome at all), otherwise I simply use the standard code.

    [1.7.10] Pathfinder [Peaceful][HQM][Tech][Adventure][Listed]

I figured out how to change bed behaviour. In the next version of RFTools (2.60) there will be three options: 0: do nothing (this will be default and is also what happens in Mystcraft I believe) 1: explode 2: try to sleep if the dimension allows it. The last one is a bit more complicated...

    [1.7.10] Pathfinder [Peaceful][HQM][Tech][Adventure][Listed]

Hmm, have to check with Gideon but because the overworld can't be accessed I think the Nether is off-limits too. But note that with RFTools you can actually make nether-like dimensions.

    [1.7.10] Pathfinder [Peaceful][HQM][Tech][Adventure][Listed]

I decided to start my own world. I have the advantage that I know rftools pretty well but I have never played a HQM modpack before so the quest stuff is new to me. My first RFTools dimension that I made was as boring as possible. The only special thing was a planet in the sky but other then that...

That's the idea. You only have the hotbar.

I get an error when trying to download that file. Can you put it on pastebin or so? Thanks!

Since the three dimlets leave a lot of dimension features unspecified you can get random things for those. That includes slower time or even fixed day/night. So yes. You can be unlucky enough to have an eternal night world.

Hmm. If you do /rftdim dumprarity doesn't it show otherwise?

    [1.7.10] Pathfinder [Peaceful][HQM][Tech][Adventure][Listed]

This probably means that your matter receiver at the destination ran out of power. That's a bit of a problem as there is no way at all to get power in that again I'm afraid. In the next version of RFTools I will add a way to teleport to an unpowered receiver but I'm afraid in your case you might...

    [1.7.10] Pathfinder [Peaceful][HQM][Tech][Adventure][Listed]

This is actually the default behaviour in non-overworld dimensions (i.e. try it in the nether). I can override this if needed. Just didn't consider it so far :-)

Reminds me if I need to consider if I should do something about that or not... Maybe I can increase the size of the crater? :-)

The in-game dimension manual explains a bit and then there is also the wiki: https://github.com/McJty/RFTools/wiki/RFTools-Blocks

Yes, if you actually use material none the right way. i.e. before a terrain dimlet or feature dimlet. Otherwise it has no effect as it is a modifier.

    RFTools - Support and Suggestions

I have a request for everyone. In the next version of RFTools I would like to rebalance all/most dimlets for materials and liquids. To help with this it would be nice if you could provide me with the output of the /rftdim dumprarity command. I would like to cover as many mods as possible. Thanks :-)

Started an RFTools FAQ: https://github.com/McJty/RFTools/wiki/RFTools-FAQ Let me know if you have other questions that would fit there. Most questions right now are about dimension building.
