It is always best to try to fix the things you have before going to new stuff. But on the other hand I have seen people bashing Mojang for doing *exactly* that. Complaining that some version didn't have enough new things and ignoring the fixes that were done. It is hard to please everyone.

I'm just interested in tech packs in general so this caught my attention and then I noticed you mentioned RFTools here so that looked like a perfect opportunity to send out a 'like' :-)

I was already planning a kind of wireless power transfer. Not sure when I get around to doing that however.

What mod is it that is conflicting with CoFHcore? I would guess that mod would be very shortlived since so much depends on CoFHcore and CoFHcore is almost included in everything.

BTW. Isn't LanteaCraft also an option? I have not played with it a lot although I did add it to my current modpack but it looks cool.

Thanks. BTW, RFTools is also very configurable. You can tweak all these values and make it cost a lot less if you so prefer.

Depends. I have RFTools dimensions that take as little as 10 RF/tick. If done carefully you can actually make some pretty cheap dimensions that are usable for getting power out.

You can also use an rftools dimension instead of a mystcraft dimension.
