Try converting charcoal into alumentum it is much more efficient. So it will last 4 times longer in your dynamos. It is easy to automate and direwolf has good tutorial on how to doit. As for resources quarry is more efficient than turtules and you don't have to stay with it as at chunk loads...

I will also recomend Ako he knows what he is doing and his builds are nice looking too. Also not necessary Monster guide but Direwolf20 has let's play which is like tutorial for beginers and DW20 and monster share about 2/3 of mods so you can learn a lot from him.
