But Myscraft 'is' world generation. Full worlds at that :)

That because Mystcraft will have some major changes in the next version, which is not quite ready yet. World changing changes that will greatly affect the balance of the mod.

You actually built one of these? I'm not even sure I will ever get that far up the tech tree. (especially in Gegtech hard mode) Seems like a nice setup, reading about it.

Mindcrack v7 uses forge 489, did you downgrade your forge version manually? Xcompwiz mentions this on his blog: Note the part about needing forge 493+ to fix the entity bug. You could manually upgrade your forge version, but I am not sure if the mods in the v7 pack are compatible with Forge...

So far, I've only gotten saplings when letting the leaves decay by themselves, with an average of 1 sapling per tree when I do that. If I break the leaves myself (sickle, hand, chainsaw) I get no saplings.

Its the new Time Tower that spawns in the Dark Forests. They are indeed a WIP (see the mod's thread in minecraftforums.net for some more info) and only have minimal content in them so far. I have seen a couple this week while exploring for an Enchanted Forest and they do look awesome.

There's isn't a lot of ppl that checked the info, but one use for the blocks is: mobs don't spawn on them. That's been very useful to me so far.

In Twilight Forest 1.14, planting a Canopy sapling can result in two different trees. Use bonemeal on it and it grows into a canopy tree. Let it grow naturally and it becomes a nifty rainbow tree.

Both saplings use the same ID (with different metadatas to separate them). So yours always grow as Canopy trees? I will try a new creative world and see what happens when I grow the canopy trees in it, in case its my map having problems. I guess I will also take a look at the twilight config...
