Are any of you experiencing fps drops in this thread also using barrels? Because for me, the barrels are the culprit in my base, not my redpower tubes or relays. I went from like 80 barrels to 150, and my fps started to drop pretty low after that.

keepcalm is also working on some Forge mods that emulate bukkit functionalities, and a newer bukkitforge version http://www.minecraftforge.net/forum/index.php/topic,3254.0.html I haven't tried to see how well it works yet

I did a few lighting tests today. An Aluminium Torch lights as much as Glowstone or a Firefly (which is, about one square or so more than a regular torch). One interesting note however, was that the Soul Shard's Soul Crystal (not yet a craftable block) put out even more light that that...

This is getting out of hand. The title really is attracting trouble.

I did just finished a comparison with the standard IC2 Reinforced Stone, and the results are about the same, with the stone protecting slightly less, but not by much, barely makes a difference. Edit: as a side note, Thaumcraft 3's totems are also very nuclear resistant

I am thinking: how much light do they actually emit compared to a torch? I never really checked as I tend to use wrath lamps, glowstone, glowstone lamps or redpower inverted lamps for my lighting needs. I will have to check that and compare.

I want to breed the trees too, but having to get the right bees to properly (aka fast) breed the trees is a pain that I didnt really want to go through.

Yes. You need to break it and re-craft it. You should get back a good portion of the components, but not all.

I thought the patch notes said the builder was disabled, not the filler?

Does the area you try to fill include bedrock blocks? They could potentially block/interfere with the filler since they are unmovable. Although I am not a filler expert, never really used it. Otherwise I am not sure, maybe there's a size limit in the latest versions?
