Unfortunately no. The dispenser does not recognize the nuke as a "dispensable" item, so it just throws out the item entity.

    [Applied Energistics] ME network

That video, and the next in the series, show how to set up the tree farm and automate it. Direwolf used Redpower for automation, but you could use practically anything, even AE, to automate.

    [Applied Energistics] ME network

Depending on what nuke design you're using, the tree farm may be significantly cheaper, and won't cost you uranium to run. Plus, once you get it all set up and automated with a fully heated boiler, you have 144 MJ/t, constantly, with zero maintenance. (well, some of it might be needed to convert...

Benefit of silktouch with no gregtech?

Unless I'm mistaken (which is often the case), GT buffed / nerfed the pulverizer so that its recipes match those of the macerator, which gives 10 redstone per ore. I'd assume this is true for the lapis dust and rock crusher recipes as well. So ngt will have the non-buffed redstone recipe of 8...

Hmm, firebox should suck from inventories automatically, sounds like a railcraft/mfr interaction bug. Knowing power crystals, he'll probably fix it eventually. For now, moasseman is right: pump out from the dsu. Perhaps buildcraft gates to regulate the inventory and avoid overflow?

    1.5.2 solar farm area

Oh, I have nothing against solars, I use them to power my own base. I just think that "power for nothing" with no automation knowledge is the main reason why some people have a bigger problem with them as opposed to other, more complex, power sources. If you want to use creosote to power your...

    Steam Summer Sale

Fallout: new Vegas and FTL. Wow, FTL is good. Hard, but good.
  10. Q

    1.5.2 solar farm area

I think the main difference here is that even if you have coal to spare to make creosote, you're still using e coal to make it. One of the largest complaints about solar energy is "something from nothing." You COULD spam semi fluids and pump out creosote oil, but you're still using coal to make...

    Filler wont restart?

Another option I used once (though impractical) is to put glass above all the rails, then stack this glass above the height that trees grow. The cart can now operate on sunlight through the glass, and the leaves won't grow where the glass is. However, this seemed to be somewhat buggy and...

    Greg's done it again.

I think it's time for me to drop GT altogether. It was fun while it lasted, even though I had to change the configs so that it didn't mess with other mods. Some of the machines were expensive, but could be worth it for the output. However, I like my mods to be fairly isolated: the vanilla iron...

What should I use to power a Quarry?

Boiler with energy tesseract is a good way. If you don't want the 25% loss, you could use REC's and set up an engineering turtle at a recharging station and another one to place the cell, and pick it up when it's empty. Transport the cells. with an item tesserect, or the like. I don't mind the...

Do you like to hide your machinery behind the scenes?

Hide everything. If I can't hide it, I'll think about the room design, maybe sleep on it, and come back when Ifigure out how to hide it. I generally keep machines visible, especially if they're not automated and I want them available for odd tasks. Ore-processing and other machines I generally...

    Drinking Liquid Ender is great.

Maybe ;) But I still feel this is important enough to have a mod dedicated to it. Or at least the ability to drink liquid diamond. (which I currently cannot get out of the thermionic fabricator :( )

So who volunteers to make the straw mod? Because I need a way to drink liquid diamond.

Mfr's chronotyper might help with that. It separates adults and babies, and from there you can set up a grinder. Edit: ninja'd!

Gravichest plate is probably your best option, barring that an electric jetpack on hover mode will require some control, but should work. As for bees, use the gene pool to transform them into liquid DNA

Do the bees have a valid destination? If not the pipe may just be spitting them out and then they're despawning.
