I'm playing on monster, which has mariculture and highlands. I've experienced a lag spike every now and then, but not berry often and the overall frame rates have been good. I should probably say, however, I do have a PC built for gaming so there is a chance it could get bad on other computers...

I usually just use vanilla, but I recently created a world with ATG (basically BoP with lots of hills and I think if sort of keeps deserts and rain forests from generating right next to each other and such.) I've really liked it, although come time for me to get cacti or slime balls, I might not be.

Well as usual, my problem was just a derp by me. It was a bigger node than what I'm used to breaking, so it just took a lot longer to mine out.

In my last world, I got a bit cheaty and installed a mod that added a recipe that was and ender pearl and 4 iron for 2 ender pearls....

So I started a new world in monster, and there was an eerie node next to it, but this one was the kind with the chest and the wisp spawner under it. I couldn't just punch out the node like I can on the normal obsidian totems, and I'm pretty sure it will be taint before I can get far enough down...

Make a giant ME system and autocracft everything at the touch of a button.

Universal electricity wind turbines are the most overpowered thing ever. They are amazingly cheap to make and you can power a quarry with just a couple. And once that first quarry is done, you can make about 15 more.And they look really cool.

If you wanted to make it a later game item, you could use shiny ingot blocks for part of the recipe. Those take tons of ferrous to get, but it might still be easy if you are only making one safari net. Maybe only allow the single use ones. Oh if you have MPS installed, you could change the...

Maybe we will get really lucky and minecraft will just stop being updated but the mods will. If that happened, mods could potentially be even better because the developers wouldn't have to play the "catch up to the current minecraft version" game, giving developers more time to work on...

Sanity usually regenerates VERY slowly over time, assuming it it isn't night or there are mobs near you or you have low health. Right now in one world, I am stuck at 0 sanity because I only have have half a heart and I can't figure out how to regain health.
