    Redstone timer causing lagspike

    You can do: 1. Turn off the timer 2. Break the timer 3. Don't use it I think this is one of the "Bugs" of redpower. Try not to use a lot of timers.

    I think that ee3 is balanced. Getting 4 stacks of wood is tedious(For me) than finding diamonds. Also, more mods use copper, tin, and iron than diamonds.

    just how much performance does modded minecraft require?

    For me, it is the opposite! Buildcraft Pipes make my cpu lag but Redpower tubes are faster. :eek:

    GraviChest vs. Jetpack

    I think it is a mechanic meant for the mod. If you want it to have jetpack controls, make your own mod or edit it. ( Meant this in the best way possible)
