you could try tweeting Direwolf and ask for an update, I assume you are referring to Open blocks and Binnie's Mods. Maybe there is a good reason we don't know, although he may not be in a rush as he had no immediate plans to use those things in an episode coming up.
I'm pretty sure DW20 does the modlist and the FTB Modpack Team does the pack, so tweeting DW asking for an update its pretty pointless.

He's not. Updates for packs go out once a week at most. Otherwise server owners/admins and players scream "too many updates"

I didnt expect that he was sitting on his hands :) But I understand that there has to be some "rules" for updates (being a developer myself).

I have a very long update list for DW and Tech2 unfortunately I have been to the ER 3 times in the last week including 7 hours last night. Eyamaz is also under the weather as well as working a full time job. So both modpack devs are currently sick which means things will be slightly delayed. I am trying to get the updates done before I have to have surgery but I am not making any promises. If I don't then Slow or Eyamaz will but it will take them longer since they don't know those packs as well as I do. Again I am sorry.

Oh... hope that you are well... I will just wait and play along with the mods I have now and enjoy all of your work :)

Awwwws. And yes DW does the modlist. I do the updates. He sent me a message 10 days ago asking for a couple updates I have just been swamped with the whole "zomg make the pain stop " thing. I am trying to avoid having surgery, I dislike surgery.

And you shouldn't even have to apologize.

Niels, buddy, you're awfully lucky to get such a reply, because if it were me, I'd be telling you that you're way out of line. Have a little respect for the awesome people bringing you your utterly free modpacks made from the goodness of your hearts.

If you really think someone might me "sitting on their hands" then maybe you should offer to help, rather than banging on the desk shouting "where's my burrito?!"

Keep up the good work, guys. Stop needing to visit the ER Jaded because by god I know it sucks. And you don't ever need to apologize for your work on a modpack :)

I really hope I don't need to again before it gets fixed. They said last night that they are out of veins they can put IV's in on my arms. And my arms are black and blue from all the needles. If I go in again they will have to use my ankles *whimper*

Oh jeez :/
And apologizing is pretty much the last thing you should be doing right now.

Personally I am not in a great rush, I still have lots of builds before I was thinking of using the stuff in those updates. I wish you recover swiftly and make sure you take care of yourself and take it easy.

I could show you the scars from my stay after I was diagnosed with Type 1 Diabetes. Been there, done that, got the t-shirt but didn't wear it because long sleeves covered the bruises.

As you might imagine though, I'm kind of used to needles at this point. It's the waiting that gets me. I'm too easily bored to sit in a hospital for seven hours before I even see a doctor. Well, that and the blood samples. My body doesn't react so well to having significant amounts of blood drawn.

I suppose now we know what FTB really needs; a good medical plan =P

It was supposed to be a joke about "sitting on hands" becuase I know that he dont do that :)

I do have huge respect for the dev's for their work and youtubers who share their experience with us and I have also respect for the FTB team who is doing a great job so we can be in another world for some time.

I then want to apologize to DW20 and Jadedcat if my words was "to hard"[DOUBLEPOST=1391004746][/DOUBLEPOST]

Lol yes. Though my medical is all covered by the Veteran's healthcare. I have "donated" 2 pints of blood for testing in the last 2 weeks. I hate needles. So far they have ruled out : cancer, infection, acid reflux, ulcers, pregnancy (which I already knew) , liver problems, kidney problems and loads of fun genetic issues. So at least they have narrowed the list...

Well then, it's clearly the brain damage.

Or lupus. Everything is lupus.

Glad to hear it's not cancer, at least. Women I associate with seem to have problems with that, for some reason...

That being said, judging by that list I can probably work out your symptoms and I might hazard an honest guess or two of my own, heh. I place the blame firmly on too much time in the moderation queue.

From what FTB needs, to FTB needles, Are we going to have a hospital mod added to FTB? A multiblock structure that requires your character to sit and wait for 6 hours before you get a diagnosis, and then another 6 hours for the potion of healing to be given to you.
Depends. If the programmer is American, you'll have to craft a health insurance card out of gold and diamond blocks first ;)

I know that feeling. I've had a vein collapse after an extended hospital stay. I'm also one of those people that they call in the "special vein finding person" to stick in the IV. Surgery is always the least favored option so here's praying that doesn't need to happen.
