Blood Magic v1.2.1b was released, with one of the biggest new features being the Demon Portal. Yes, it's been in there a while. But now, there are actually demons and various buildings!

- Helped improve the performance of the Compression sigil even more.

- Added the configs for the manipulation of the Demon Portal - it is suggested that if you want to play with the demon portal from creative that you delete the config/BloodMagic folder each release.

To activate the portal, pull it out of Creative, place it on the ground and click the side. Then throw away your sanity, since you are about to get your butt whooped!

Sneak peek on something that I have been working on: a sort of rustic stronghold
These will generate in the ground down the road.


Interior rooms are roundish with hallways connecting them.


Some of the rooms are smaller (4 different sizes - based on the radius)


The ceiling is ragged to make it seem rougher/old.


This is still a WIP and the textures are likely to change, I hope to have more things randomly decorate the rooms in the near future.

A mod developed simply so that I can add all those random things I want in Blood Magic, such as an Mob-Spawning ritual, or a Sigil that uses a large amount of LP to make a large mining tunnel, or a Sigil to swap one kind of block in the world for another. My personal favourite are the Warded Ritual Stones.

If you're thinking "haven't I seen some of these functions before?" you have. I just wanted some that ran on LP, so I made them without looking at how others had made theirs. If you want to look at my code, it is available in the Source tab above.

We present you.....

This mod lets you do three things: add or remove items from any chest type (including nether fortress chests and any custom chests added by mods or custom chests you add in the config), add or remove drops from entities, and add new records. The instructions for each are in the config files.

It also generates a set of useful files showing you info about items, blocks, entities, effects, enchantments, dimensions, and foods.

Those info files and all the config files (except the records.cfg file) will only generate once you load a world (any world). This is because some of the item IDs don't load correctly until the game starts.
It works with modded entities too!

The 1.2.0 is a significant update with lots of rewritten code. Exercise good modded Minecraft practices and backup your world.

New Material:
  • Drawer inventories now support automatic item extraction (hoppers, pipes, etc).
  • Applied Energistics 2 support (via storage bus).
  • Lock upgrade for drawers.
  • API to interact with drawers (still being finalized -- talk to me if you're interested in using it).
  • Config entries to control item input/output and third party mod integration.
Changes and Improvements:
  • Network traffic is improved. This is an ongoing area of improvement.
  • 'Fast' rendering now renders blocks with full lighting detail.
  • 'Fast' rendering is now the default rendering mode (existing mod users not affected).
Bug Fixes:
  • Double-click item entry now works when time is frozen.
  • Cobblestone, stone, and sandstone added to ore dictionary blacklist.
  • Adding AE2 quartz or fluix blocks to a compacting drawer
  • ExU compressed dirt and cobblestone don't get replaced with higher-tier versions when reloading world.
  • Status indicators no longer render on wrong slot.
Localization:

Only minor downside with the new textures is that they're 32x32 resolution, but sadly there's really not enough space in 16x16 to do it.

Since someone asked. RWTema is and has bin working on TE ducts.
This shows he is making progress with them and notes that he has changed the textures so that of the items in the item ducts are more visible.
He did so by converting the 16*16 textures to 32*32 resolution. The textures are mostly the same. Except the colored pixel stripes that were running along the inside of the pipe. They are now half the with.
