Anyway, yeah... #OffTopic.

Found a super pipe mod!
Pressure Pipes
Ever tried moving 10,000mb of steam per tick?

blocks.png

Features
  • Transfer any amount of fluid
  • Unlimited input/output
  • Works with all forge fluids and all pipe/tanks from other mods
  • Can transfer multiple liquids on the same pipe
  • Filtering by fluid type on input and outputs
  • Multiple inputs and outputs on the same pipe
  • Smart distribution between valid outputs
Blocks
  • High Pressure Input
    • Accepts fluids from pipes on the back (brighter side without arrows)
    • Connects to a pressure pipe on the front (darker side with arrows)
    • Will only accept fluids if a valid output is connected with a high pressure pipe
    • If multiple outputs are connected – will do it’s best to distribute the fluid evenly
  • High Pressure Output
    • Connects to a pressure pipe on the back (darker side without arrows)
    • Outputs fluids into pipes/tanks on the front (brighter side with arrows)
  • High Pressure Piping
    • Connects outputs and inputs
    • Can be layed in any shape, loops and intersections will not cause problems
  • High Pressure Pump
    • Pumps fluids between tanks, pipes or High Pressure Inputs
    • Will pump as much fluid as possible per tick
    • Needs redstone signal to activate
  • Infinite Water Source
    • Exactly what it says on the tin
      icon_wink.gif
    • Is really infinite for all intents and purposes
    • Water can be piped out using a High Pressure Pump or pipes from other mods
Filtering

filtering.png

Inputs, Outputs and Pipes can have filters set, to set a filter – right click with a bucket (or any other valid container) filled with the fluid. To remove a filter – right click with an empty bucket in your hand.

From Reika:

Its not in the changelogs, so this is a notice to anyone who got V24 and monitors the change log for updates.

I know you keep up with Reika's releases, so perhaps you can help.

What, if any, special procedures do I need to follow when upgrading from 19b in Monster pack? I upgraded everything to 23d and got crashes to desktop during startup.

Since I am running a server for others, if it involves a lot of config/ID manipulation, I may just forget it.

Probably just a singular potion ID conflict. Change the potion IDs in the rotary craft config to numbers like 80-81

And the corium ID, probably.

Thank you! So, the other items you added don't cause any ID conflicts with a default FTB configuration? That's good to know. Maybe I will poke around to find out why it was crashing.

I know it's not mod related so we probably shouldn't discuss it too much to derail the thread, but heck to that.

I find it amazing and awe-inspiring to see a community like ours to make such a big difference to someone's life for the better. For all of those people out there that think Minecraft is "just a game", let this prove you that it's much much more than that, we're a family. All the best to Cloudy getting his daughter back, I really wish him all the luck in the world.

I see this more as further evidence that some people show the good side of human nature, and that others are not worth the chemicals that they are made of.

This post may help, as it provides examples of all crashes I throw on load.

Upgradable TE Machines
upgradablemachines.png

Who thinks that Thermal Expansion's machines could be a little faster? I know I do. That is why I set out to create this mod add-on for Thermal Expansion 3.
An Upgradable Machine is a machine derived from Thermal Expansion's own machines such as the Redstone Furnace, or Pulverizer. They are made by combining a normal Thermal Expansion 3 machine with Invar Slots. This makes the Upgradable . This adds an upgrade slot to the machine's GUI to add something called an Energy Consumption Upgrade to the machine to make it hold and use more power, therefore making the machine more powerful.Originally the mod was going to have a couple upgrades like IC2 has, but I learned that the energy consumed by the machine is dependent on the minimum power it uses and how much Redstone Flux it can hold. It is possible to make it so there are other kinds of upgrades, but it might cause unwanted clutter in the code. It is something I might consider. The mod is currently in development and a pre-release version is due out sometime this week with the Upgradable Redstone Furnace as the first available machine.I hope you guys are interested in this mod as much as I am. Get ready for Upgradable Machines!

Too Many God Damn Ores!
This is a simple utility mod, and my first mod at that.

Not all mods allow you to disable their world gen, and sometimes you want multiple mods worth of ore gen, but without using lots of inventory space to store all the different kinds of copper, tin or silver.

This mod aims to prevent that. Rather than replace the block in the world or disable ore gen from other mods, it replaces it as you harvest it. It's all based off configuration and is very easy to use.

To configure a replacement, simply add the ore dictionary name, followed by the modid for the replacement block.

Take the below configuration as an example:
Code:
# Configuration file##################### exclusions####################

exclusions {
        S:oreCopper <
                TConstruct:GravelOre
        >
        S:oreTin <
                TConstruct:GravelOre
        >}##################### replacements####################

replacements {
        S:oreCopper=IC2
        S:oreTin=IC2
}
Now, when a block is harvested (mined with a pickaxe etc) that belongs to either the oreCooper or oreTin entry in the ore dictionary, this mod will replace the block drop with the corresponding entry from the mod with the modid IC2, so in this case, IndustrialCraft 2.

This works with silk touch, and aims to not interfere with any other mods that use the HarvestDropsEvent.

In the case of mods like TinkersConstruct, you'll want to exclude certain blocks from being replaced or being used to replace others. In the example above you'll see us excluding the gravel ore blocks.

It is largely aimed at those who play their own selection of mods, or for those who are putting together public modpacks.

Manual Pickup
Are you tired of your Steve grabbing everything in sight as soon as he steps on it? Sick of grabbing that stack of useless dirt you just threw out?I wrote a small plugin to fix this. This stops you from automatically picking up anything.

(New in 1.7.2) There are three modes: auto, manual, and individual (Not in 1.6.4)

Auto: Standard pickup behaviour
Manual: Auto-pickup disabled. Press 'F' (configurable), to pickup all of the items around you.
Individual:Same as manual, but you ONLY pickup items you are looking directly at when you press the key.

Cycle through them with 'GRAVE' key. Configurable in settings.

This mod SHOULD work in multiplayer as long as the server has the mod as well. I don't play multiplayer so I haven't tested this. Please let me know. Unfortunately, it is not clientside only.
