The new feature is a new kind of watering can that can be automated by fake players (such as turtles, autonomous activators that can simulate right-clicking). Previously for balance this was disabled since it gave a large amount of resources with little no risk or cost. Reinforced Watering cans work even faster and have a larger range but they come at a very, very large cost, with probably one of the most evil crafting recipes ever made.
Also new is energy extraction pipes that signal an energy transfer node to extract RF energy rather than insert it. Thus you can have a single energy node for multiple generators such as
here!. I've also increased the internal buffer so that you can run an entire base on one energy node.
Two other new items are the 'Soul fragment' and the 'Block of Bedrockium' which are basically meant as crafting ingredients in other recipes.
I've also been experimenting with network code and I've made it so transfer nodes will show fancy particle effects all the time. This means you can partially see the flow of items through a network. You can disable this on the client if it bothers you and on a server to keep network traffic down (but that shouldn't be a major issue)."
