To be honest, I sometimes think the main dude on that channel overthinks things because while I disagree that magic is a "I don't gotta explain shit" excuse, he should at least accept that magic changes the rules far more then they don't. His skyrim video on Arrows and Knees shows it very strongly that he discounts Magic as a possible medical treatment. C. Arthur Clark said that "Any Highly Advanced Technology is indistinguishable from Magic", and someone wisely inverted it to say that "Any Highly Advanced Magic is indistinguishable from Technology", and great Magical Settings rely on this.
I do admit that explaining how magic allows for such freaks as skeletons and zombies, let alone teleportation and dimensional travel is utterly inane and serves no real purpose... but the creeper being a massive Peat Moss Monster at least makes sense.
Directly quotedI always thought it was "Any Sufficiently Analyzed Magic is indistinguishable from Science"
Highly tempted to try playing with vi controls now (hjkl).almost as starnge as my controls. ijkl are movement and o is inventory.
its the same at my work. just use the google translate website lookup feature to get around it. Sadly it doesn't work for youtubeThe filtered internet where I work hasn't blocked google translate, reducing my machiavellian scheming to get round the filter to a single step of HTTPS abuse.

Hm. I'm a lefty, yet I still use wsad, so figure that one out

I learned that a healing spell from AM2 is like the best thing ever when you are doing blood magic
So do I. Mostly it's because I grew up sharing a computer and the rest of my family is right-handed, so the typical mouse/keyboard setup (when mice became a thing, that is) is what I became used to.Hm. I'm a lefty, yet I still use wsad, so figure that one out
What do you do with that ore this early in the game without any bits of redstone and gold (pulverizer) or aluminum, tin, copper and lead (Automated TiCo smeltery) or Iron and copper (macerator) or only Iron (grinder rotary craft) ? What else do you pulverize in mass so you can't automate ore doubling ?I discovered that a small glass snack bowl has just enough weight to weigh down my keyboard's spacebar(that's my action button) so I can hand grind ores in the grindstone while away from the game.
fwiw, I do the same thing. Sometimes I just don't have the stuff for any other duplication block, particularly in a more hard-core tech game. And some of those ores I know I can't afford to waste. What do you do with that ore this early in the game without any bits of redstone and gold (pulverizer) or aluminum, tin, copper and lead (Automated TiCo smeltery) or Iron and copper (macerator) or only Iron (grinder rotary craft) ? RotaryCraft, AKA NeverNeedResourcesAgainCraftRotarycraft certus quartz gems.
Good god.
Flick through NEI for the processing options for certus quartz ore (digital miner has a nice little button for silk touchiness), it looks fairly standard, smelting gives 1x, pulverizers 2+byproducts, a grinder 3x flakes and an extractor 5x
As you'd expect.
Then you realise the flakes smelt into three gems each.
It makes me all tingly in my happy place!
