Everything about the ultra-endgame of ChromatiCraft, especially Skystrike and the vacuum gun.

And, for your dose of something unrelated to Minecraft: Kraken black spiced rum. Superbly potent and remarkably drinkable.

I discovered back a bit ago that shots of Jim Beam Devil's Cut with Angry Orchard chasers does something magical to your mouth. Kraken is pretty tasty too, though.

Minecraft related, I just realized that ImmEng Powered Lanterns act as a Magnum Torch in regards to mob spawning. 32 block radius free of mobs for only 2RF/t, and they look awesome? Yes please.

Fair enough. Right now, a test over vanilla hilly cave nodes gave me massive lag spikes, disorientation (I seemed to have kept moving server-side even while the client-side didn't update), and ... a cross between headache and eyestrain.

There is no "off" option that I can see. No way to toggle it on when I want to climb a hill, or off when I want to control where I walk / hug a terrain line.

Ohh, nice! I did not see that.

Now, a keybinding for that option ...

The spawn fuzz in 1.10.2 seems to be much bigger than 1.7.10.
And, the bonus chest in 1.10.2 actually has a lot of stuff in it :).

(Odd, only oak wood and planks. Lots of stacks of them, but still only one type, and no emergency saplings or dirt.)

Axes do more damage than swords?
(1.10.2, that was NOT true in 1.7.10)

Still learning how combat speed works ... how do you tell how frequently to swing?

Yes but have longer cooldown then swords. Swords can also hit multiple things at once but I believe that you can use an axe to prevent people from using shields for a while by doing a sprint attack.
Swords still have a bigger Damage per second if I remember correctly though.

Where can I find docs on these combat changes? (I thought 1.9 was about shields, removing sword blocking, two-handed combat, and having to manually pause in a game where network delay is unpredictable.)

Anndd ... Vanilla only has one shield, an iron/wood mix? No wooden shields for early game; no iron or diamond shield for later game?

There's no pumps in 1.9.4 (IC2 is a no go for me). But the pedistal from Reliquary, with a bucket placed on top, will act as a pump. It will output automatically to an adjacent, fluid inventory.

No pumps?

What are you talking about?
This one also very nicely allow you to set if you want block updates to happen when while it works. At least, the 1.7.10 version haven't played with 1.9 yet thus not sure if anything changed

Apparently vanilla minecraft has fully automatic mining now.

A bit slow but then again it also doesn't need power and you don't need to set it up multiple times.
The real downside lays in the fact that it requires a wither but then again you can probably use said wither for other things as well.

What farms you need for it:,witch farm, iron farm, wood farm, slime farm, and a cobble gen
The lights are optional though and in terms of pistons used it isn't actually that bad. (For what it does that is)
You gain plenty of cobble during regular mining and I'm not sure if you really need a wood farm as 1 log gives slightly more then 1 piston.

Also don't forget villagers are a thing and thus you can get redstone that way. Thus the only farm you really need is iron which I would recommend anyway if you like to make this kind of stuff in vanilla.
