Also... I think someone trumped frames. I don't know about code, but I do know that this looks epic.

The one and only actual use people put frames too is not supported; mining platforms. Caterpillar drives won't work, as the path of an object must be laid out.

That's "A" use. Not the only use. Mining platforms have never interested me. But then again I prefer aesthetics and adventuring. I'm not overly concerned with efficiency or complexity. Game play styles vary.
Looks like ugo made a bit of progress since last I played with it.
Nothing says evil overlord better than a 20 block tall rotating arched dark wood door of excelent craftsmanship meanacing with iron spikes, cunningly engraved with flaming skulls of black onyx, does it?Same here. I like frames because having a big ass futuristic base and only a simple iron 2x2 double door doesn't really mix. Big ass futuristic base needs big ass futuristic door.
I've made a tunnel bore once but really once you had like 6 full size quarries eat their way to bedrock you hardly need any more 'stuff'. I REALLY like that it can rotate stuff![DOUBLEPOST=1371043820][/DOUBLEPOST]
Progress happens to mods that are being actively developed
Hah, yeah, it was that back when I tried it first, used it with better than wolves, too bad, oh well.

I appreciate the confidence, but I can pretty much say that Elo is far and away the better programmer. I won't even pretend we're remotely close to the same level.
Isn't Forgecraft 2 running 1.5.2? I'm pretty sure I've seen Direwolf20 use RP2 stuff on his Season 5 SMP series.
Because of the lack of WRCBE, I had to install SlimeVoid's version on my Modpack until Chickenbones finishes. They do, but I certainly haven't seen RP2 in his S5 SMP. What's more, the ForgeCraft mod authors are all moving to take parts of what RP2 was into their own mods. Railcraft has a ton of decorative blocks, ChickenBones is working hard to make an open source version of Eloraam's placed/rotatable circuit slab library so that he can resurrect his wireless redstone library (which everyone misses dearly, I know).
I think the "right" thing to do is to move on. We'll all be excited if Eloraam comes back and has a great mod with a ton of features. But no one should be holding their breath. She's one of many mod authors who will probably be waiting until Forge has calmed down; the versions for 1.6 introduce some huge changes.

Ohhhhhh... you are right. I thought the Red power stuff came from RP2 but that's Thermal Expansion. My bad...
Greg has wireless redstone? What's it called?Yeah I'm just telling people to get creative. All respect to SlimeVoid's work, but my tests worlds (snapshots of RRT1) crash a lot with that mod in the stacktrace. I've been telling people to use Greg's wireless redstone. It works.[DOUBLEPOST=1371049766][/DOUBLEPOST]
It is no coincidence you thought this: Thermal Expansion is one of those mods that has taken up the "essential mods" torch as RedPower2 has faded.
Isn't he working on a microblocks mod too? One with better performance than RP2 or Immibis microblocks? Or at least I swear I saw someone mention it elsewhere, although he might have been talking about the circuit library you mentioned.ChickenBones is working hard to make an open source version of Eloraam's placed/rotatable circuit slab library so that he can resurrect his wireless redstone library (which everyone misses dearly, I know).
