I also forgot about MineFactoryReloaded. I was just writing everything in the folder willy nilly as I saw it, didn't really do much proofreadingSo Adventure Backport is not part of it or why is it not in the list?

After finally getting to using the mod, I found that while it works perfectly with vanilla blocks, modded blocks don't work at all. For example:The first version of the Adventure mode mod is released:
http://www.curse.com/mc-mods/minecraft/228312-adventure-backport
It does not yet have the option for specifying what you can break/use with bare hands but that will come.
Hmmm...I think this is a limitation of Minecraft's /give command. It apparently doesn't like colons inside strings.After finally getting to using the mod, I found that while it works perfectly with vanilla blocks, modded blocks don't work at all. For example:
/give @p stick 1 0 {CanDestroy:[Forestry:apiculture]}
gives me a stick that cannot break the Apiary as it's supposed to and instead has
can break:
unknown: apiculture
As it's tag
So what should I do to obtain the items? NBT Editors?Hmmm...I think this is a limitation of Minecraft's /give command. It apparently doesn't like colons inside strings.
I'm not sure how to circumvent that...
The prefix thing worked, thanks!Either this or you can prefix the names with a colon, so
/give @p stick 1 0 {CanDestroy:[:Forestry:apiculture]}
I don't think it's intended to behave like this. I tried it in 1.8 and it's working properly there.BTW, is that prefixing thing a Vanilla feature? And if so, to what extent does it work?
I think CustomItems is the culprit here.So, after switching from using my school's Mac to my home PC, I started getting a strange crash. I thought it was due to a .json file somewhere in the config folder, but none of the files start with a string.

Strange, I've got it down to it's default files and it still crashesI think CustomItems is the culprit here.
I just couldn't figure out how to properly implement it. That and I got bored of modpacking. Now I'm doing Redstone and Python!So...what happened to this? Did it just die?
The Ferret Business is similar to this concept if you want to try that out.So...what happened to this? Did it just die?
