There you go. And the source code.
The textures and names of the blocks can be found in the "assets" folder inside the jar. You can change them there.
It was a piece of cake since most of the code I already have for another mod. The trees don't generate naturally in the world though, you have to grow them from saplings.

Which block to use as wood is set in the config. It's oak wood by default.

Yes if you edit the "en_US.lang" file in "assets/ljfa-custom-trees/lang"

You said you wanted custom logs
The config file is named "ljfa-custom-trees.cfg".

edit: I've taken a look at your wiki its nice. But i think i must go with quadrum for that. It just has more options
