As much as I would like to agree with you here, Chocorate is not the one who added poop lakes, sewage, and fertilizer. He also did not make the liquid poop drinkable. You really have to point to powercrystals as the enabler here.

Poop and Sewage are part of any real farm. You can't blame a guy for bringing a little realism.

Poop to fertilizer makes more sense to be then mining for it.

I have just been working on a chicken farm that using MFR. I thought chickens would be a good source of mob essence because they lay eggs (and reproduce) without having to feed them or anything. I posted it in the community showcase but I thought I would mention it here just in case anyone is interested in this MFR creation. It uses computercraft logic not the PLC i'm afraid but I am considering using the PLC in this build (and my other farms) as soon as I become competent with it.

Powercrystals... I'm currently making a rather spiffy build and my main material is the whitestone bricks.. was wondering if you have any plans to ever introduce slabs and stairs for your decorative blocks? Or are you just pointing everyone in the direction of immibis?

I've tried adding immibis's microblocks but it would always crash the game for me for some reason : /

Many mods are memorable due to one part of their content
Factorization - The barrel mod
RP2 - Frames
Forestry - Bees (not it's farms)

MFR? The mod that's full of shi... poo - Not sure I'd like to have a mod I've written remembered for such a "resource", time to do more work on that PRC and wire, and quick! :D

I'd disagree with your memorization of RP2 and Forestry.
Rp2 would stick most in my mind because of the tubes. And forestry for the farms (I've never really gotten into bees but I can see how one would think that) and MFR for me would be more related to its machines than it's poo

Well, it's a bit subjective. For me, RP2 are the wires, but I mentioned Frames as that's what is mainly moaned about with RP2 (and lack of updates). Original Forestry was indeed Farms, until the multiblock monster and bee/tree obsession.

Thats an interesting thought about some large mods being remembered for only one thing. I have only been playing modded minecraft for a few months now so I doubt I am well placed to argue one way or the other but I do have a couple of points. The three mods you mentioned are all quite large and they all have cool features (even the latest forestry in my opinion). But because of there size even if one person primarily remembered that mod for one reason, another might have a different reason. Say with factorization, some people might remember it as the barrel mod, some the wrath lamp mod, and some people might remember it for other reasons. Like you said, it is subjective, maybe to the point where you can't say a mod is remembered for only one thing. I guess it is interesting to think of what the hallmark of a mod is though, what makes it stand out for most people within a modpack. Sorry for rambling, I just enjoyed having a little think thats all (I am a bit sleep deprived though so if it made no sense, sorry again).[DOUBLEPOST=1372773917][/DOUBLEPOST]
FZ was always routers to me.

FZ has some really unique automation methods, not just in the solutions it offers itself like routers, but also the way its machines are set up in general make you think in a different way than usual. At least that is my experience in my first actual attempt of playing factorization for more than just wrath lamps and barrels.

I also love the sculpting, wish I had more time to play with that.

It's not something to agree or disagree on. Everyone has their own use of certain mods.[DOUBLEPOST=1372774746][/DOUBLEPOST]

Make sure to follow the directions precisely : Immibis' work is a little unique in that the mod with "core" in its name only needs to go in the mods directory, while the microblocks actually are a coremod and need to go in the coremod list.

If that's not your issue, can you provide a crashlog?

It would crash so hard that there was no log -_- And yea, I had figured out the coremod thing earlier but it still caused the same problems. I might try adding it back in and seeing if the game will launch later.

All three are memorable to me as being dropped from my world wondering why people think they're worth having in the first place. :)
