Seems like I totally forgot one:
Getting bored of trying fixing things that should never have been broken and are not broken but that still doesn't work. Nonsense yet reality.
Why on earth am I supposed to use a batch file combined with a vb script to command a python file to use a ruby program to work on ini and xml files to get a C++ program to work just to use a java mod?!
...WHAT.

"And when I think about it, a lot of "things I want to do" are just learning about and discussing new tools for tinkering with the chain."

Did you notice how many dead ends/sinks are there, and how few actual loops?

I'm reminded of old redstone elevators that used pistons and stairs. Get the timing wrong... never used them seriously, anyways.

I built one of those a while back. I worked really well in SSP, but when I built a replica on my friend's server, it... didn't.

That was before the vanilla "internal server" update, so it probably wouldn't work at all anymore.

The fact that @McJty keeps trying to log into my whitelisted server....

Geez.. If you wanted to play with me, just ask!

:D

An irk from me: When Minecraft seems to use more CPU when it's paused in the background then when I'm actually playing it.

At least, when I pause the game and switch over to Safari to browse the forum or wiki, my processor inexplicably starts to heat up, shortly followed by the fan turning on. When I go back to Minecraft, it cools down, the fan turns off, and everything's fine.

That's MC's way of telling you it wants more attention, much like a cat.

Annoying especially when I'm editing code in the background ^^
So there is my irk, editing the Java code while the game is running and having it immediately apply the is possible, but only to some extent. I can't add new methods or fields or remove them, and if I edit a piece of code that gets only run once when the game starts it doesn't have an effect on the running game either.

Anyone know what fixes this? I know something does, since Infinity doesn't have this problem... but whatever it is, it's not in my bare-bones testing instance.
